Jules, as of now K1 is privateer entry. I belive Bro Naza has had various discussions with CK regarding the CRG’s but various factors including cost of running rental K1 have been the main hurdles.

yup. the main hurdles are cost and minimum commitment as to races run on these machines. CK wants 6 enduros on these machines in addition to 10 sprint events. given the low response to the 100cc enduros, we believe that this is the main hurdle. the 10 sprint events, may not be a problem… although it is back to the cost factor.

If I recalled correctly (Luen please comfirm), CK handed us a sort of response on paper (where is it ah?) which we have immediate concerns on the rental prices quoted. The prices were not 160.00 as was originally stated by AP, so that really got us back pedalling to our cornor. Than came the June 16th happening which than put this matter as second priority.
What we need to do is to revive this matter with CK again . Shall we?

…Jules, an alternative proposal by anyone is welcome for the sake of my-kart members in the long term. No, no deals signed yet with CK.agreed and of course. as said, I have yet to meet them yet but Aaron called me recently requesting for a meet.

CK quoted RM220 per session + 6 endurance race of RM640 each kart. Is commitment to CK we run total 16 races of each K1 CRG.
If excluded Endurance race, cost will be

(RM220 x 10) + (RM640 x 6) / 10(normal series) = RM604 each 125cc CRG per run.

Its about time, we revive the subject with CK (if he is still open to it). Perhaps we can try to do some talks right after the Rd 7 race?
