Participant
Kart charges for 80cc for 1 hour should be RM180 my last discussion with CK. Bro Naza if you can help to nego with better price?
Discussed with Azlan and Emmy today, suggested that maybe 3 drivers to a team to offload bit of the costs. What say you team? comment please
Very good price indeed.3 to a team is easier to assemble comparing to 4.
Verdict : No problem1 September 2007 at 4:05 pm #5536naza
ParticipantLuen,
Thanks for taking the initiative. I like the idea of 2 hours (120 mins) endurance with 3 drivers. Probably can run this event in the afternoon after the round 10 has completed at about 2.00 pm. Break for lunch and start the enduro at 2.45 pm.1 hour on the 80cc cost RM 180?…for 3 drivers or 1 driver?

Memberprice per hour sounds good. RM180 x 2hrs = RM360. 3 drivers per team. Thus, RM120 per driver. Sounds alright, but let’s test this. Do we want to collect some money for trophies and goodies etc?

Participant2 hours, 3 drivers sounds goooddzzzzz. I’m all for it.
BTW, regarding the cost, I note that my-kart member price for 10mins on 80cc equates to RM25. Therfore, 1 hour would cost RM150.00 (6 sessions @ RM25 = RM150.00). Should this cost calculation be applied or are there other factors that need to be considered?
Trophies / Medals – good idea. It helps keep the competitive spirit strong! Perhaps like the A1GP race, we could have podium trophies and small trophies for all participants?
We did have them for 2006 Grand Finale. We had trophies for the 2006 Overall K2 top 3 champions, K3 top 3 champions, Mega-endurance top 6 overall, Grand Finale top 3 class finishers, etc….
Some of the prizes (eg. engine oil by LyHo Industries), some of the trophies by CK karting and the overall Mega-Endurance champion cup by Raja Razman.

And of course, we have engaged J&W to spiced-up our event

ParticipantI have asked AP to quote a discounted rate to my-kart club and he promised to respond by Tuesday including the email about the CRG/100cc that Luen recently sent to CK.
By the way, The Grand Finale could look like so:
65cc cadet race – K4
80cc race – K3
100 cc – K2 (CRG/100cc is possible)
125cc race – K1
2 hour hyper enduro race….goooooddzzzz! (whats the right spelling anyway?)

2 hour hyper enduro race
As per the conversation during our “yumcha” session between Luen, Naza, Tarmizi & myself which took us past midnight with our round table talk last night,the Grand Finale will be as follows ;
65cc cadet race – K4 (To promote to kids what kart racing is all about)
The format will most probably be 1 heat & 1 final.80cc (K3) – scrapped. Reserve the karts for Hyper endurance.
100cc (K2) & 125cc (K1) – To be run together just like Japan GT (500 & 300).
2 hour Hyper Endurance – Luen & Naza will elaborate on this further.
