I had my first race last week and can say that you will not be disappointed 🙂

Regarding the gear, you will find (as I did) that in Malaysia, Health and Safety tends to be your own responsibility, and is optional 😉

Helmets and shower caps are available at the circuit.

Suit and gloves are highly recommended, but you have to provide them yourself. Looking at some of the incidents it appears to generally be the incocent party that comes out worse, and it’s better to make the investment now, otherwise you could be paying a bigger price in later years.

If you are looking for helmet with those specs.. you will be looking at above RM1000. Most of the my-karters are using motorbike helmets. So maybe you can look into that.. those motorbike helmets are fairly cheap compare to FIA Helmet..
