ParticipantWeight Issues,
1. for K3, no weight limit
2. for K1 and K2, min weight is 70kg. Light drivers will hv to carry ballast to meet the min weight.Penalties for errors/wrong doings
1. To be decided by the committee
2. Some penalties given include, stripping off the clothes.. oh! sorry, stripping of the points for the said rounds, disqualification, position penalties, payment for damaged parts, etcpoint system should there be a tie
1. In case of a tie, driver who has higher qualifying points wins, if there is a tie, driver who has higher seeding wins, if there is a tie, driver who registers first wins, if there is a tie? just share the points la, why dont u!ballast
1. as per earlier explanation. applicable to K1 and K2 only to meet min driver weight of 70kgtiming
1. will be used for K1 and K2 only.. mainly for self satisfaction purposes 😛
2. qualifying, grid orders, winners, will be determined by the position you finished with. even if you are the fastest driver of the day, but you can not overtake the driver in front, u still finish behind him.
3. although, there are some proposals to award a point or two for fastest lap ala A1GP9 April 2009 at 7:41 am #8325RawFlesh

Participant
I thought I read somewhere, min weight is now 65kgs, coz CK doesnt have inuf ballasts? :?
min driver weight is typically 70Kg. Last round it was reduced due to insufficient available ballast (K1 and K2 running together), but I believe this is being rectified as I type…

Participantwow guys thanks to all of you! appreciate this feedback. izzit true that city kart has ballasts? last time checked wif dem in Jan, they say dun haf?!?!?!……….if so where can i buy these ballasts and how to fit em in CK karts incase CK dont have enuff. Our league has an average of 71kgs weight. This means those lighter will be fitted with ballast to meet this 71kgs? how abt those way much heavier that that say 80 odd 90 kgs? :O do you guys have other ways to sort out weight issues if we dont use ballast? maybe start from behind, few secs delay or pit lane start, bla bla bla………..
as for points system here is a scenario….i want yr feedbacks!
driver A and Driver B competing in two round races to see over who wins.
round one driver A finished 5th driver B finished 3rd
round two driver A finished 2nd driver B finished 3rdnow between the two who is a winner shoud they both have same points total? this is to determine 2nd runner up on the podium as we have a champ and 1st runner up…….oni 2nd runner up dunnow? can you guys advice.
thanks alot to everyone for contributing

Participantballast, you can buy at dive shops….or if you know foundry, cheaper still.
4 wheel off track not allowed….2 wheels, reasonable but safety is never to be compromised.
Btw, drive outside the track too often, you risk punctures and if only u doing it…..its normally dirty and dun help ur lap times cos its dirty….
At end, how much u can save in time by doing that? u driving consistently 0.2 seconds within ur laps? if not, this wun help….
