hey fazz,need to know something…is theres any chance for unqualifier to join the pgi gran final?i mean,maybe theres a driver cant race,so what chance for any1 to fill da hole???just asking coz im so close to be there…then….. 🙁

Unlikely that they will allow an non qualifiers to participate. If the qualified driver fails to turn up, then too bad. But chances are most of them will turn up.

is funkarts or 100cc for the funkarts or 100cc 2-stroke for the Granfinal?
have not tried the sepang fun-karts at sepang. need to familiarise the handling of the karts.
how about we organise a practice session before the race. say in 16 & 17 december?

funkarts. the ones Kartquest uses. practice on 17th possible. but the karts may be quarantined for the next day event.

Bro,
The fun karts they gonna use (if they dont change as per previous year), is a 4 stroker with relatively slow exit speed but good top end (not much use if there is not enough distance anyway). Most of us are used to 2 strokers, be it 80 or 100 ccs karts which had different torque and HP profiles to the 4 stroke engines. However, these engines are tough and durable.
Unfortunately, these karts are not for normal hire other than for organised events like the Finals soon.
Perhaps Fazz or someone can sweet talk KartQuest to quietly hire a couple or so before race day…(grin)

Elite track? ok bro, just dont forget to wear thick gloves and build a bit more muscles on your arms. YOu will need it cos the fun karts steering are really heavy…they are not bothered with toe in/out and castor settings. Hopefully, it will be ok by the time u visit the track.
