2009 will be the 7th season for my-KART’s DRIVERS series.

Expect an even more competitive season in 2009.

        Currently we have 14 K1 drivers and 16 K2 drivers… I am not sure how long we have to “convince” CK to continue to have K2 exclusive. alternatively, would we want to consider a larger pool of either K1 or K2 exclusive? given the fact that it would be more “feasible” to have 30 drivers in one category which would require 15 karts consistently.
        
        2nd motion is.. the weather forecast for saturday doesnt look too good. however, it usually rains in the afternoon than the morning. in mitigating this risk, we would need cooperation from all to ensure that we can turn around the heats quickly and/or run K1/K2 concurrently (like Rd 1). Also, would it be prudent to request CK to have standby rain tyres for K1/K2 runners?

        I thought K1/2 was run together? Din know this stopped :shy: Was lookin forward to having 20-30 karts on track in rd 4…. Can we bring it back? Was it done away coz for safety reasons?

        It was done away due to lack of ballasts and it took too long to swap/share ballasts between K1/K2. With more ballast, that shouldn’t be a problem though.

        *under the condition that Kart 9 is repaired to give the same torque as the other karts and the electrical problems are resolved after 2 races with the same issues
        *Agreed with Chris about the kart. If possible fix the kart or change our karts to number 12 since it suits both of the driver’s physique and the engine’s much better.
