Seriously, there’s no straight answers since one corner is connected to the next via straights. The entry & exit from these corners depends on the entry & exit of the next corners, amongst many other things like track grip, width and of course, your kart power, tyres.
The key points is to know which corners are the important ones on the track.
I tend to agree that late apex is typically the safer bet…which is applicable to road driving as well. If someone is trying to pass, then the line changes…which u know very well. the corner we stood at is a Late Apex one, which all of you know now.
There’s no magic to this……practice and basic physics.

Participantthe leader & co-leader of K2 should coach….I am not qualified, as the results speak for itself……
since u ask me….sigh.
K2 & K3 fundamentally is the same…..different is K3 needs more smooth cos no power to hide ur mistakes-loh. K2 just need more balls…he he he ( Deanna & Kiki’s case dun apply here okie here…) Actually, K2 emphasise more on braking also cos the speed higher….
aiyah, all of you know how to drive…just practise but perfect practise makes perfection….not the other way ok?

Participantsifu…but if we practices the wrong habits..then it wouldn’t be any better for us…so need a lot of proper guidance here…
what I normally do is stick to the basics…brake on the straights & slow in-fast out(also depending on the kart’s chassis balance..I will vary my braking point)…dunno if this applies to all types of corners…
but last sunday during the trackday in sepang..when I took my car in…I did just what I’ve practiced in the karts…& I guess to some extent it does help with me driving my car at the limits…tried to keep the car balanced without any drama & managed to clock 3:09 on my last hot lap…this is my first time on the sepang track…think maybe I could better the time with more track mileage… -
