I need to chew and digest on this for a while. There’s some promise here, but would like to have the chance to discuss more with Richard.
When Mikko Nassi gave me my suit, he mentioned this series. Errgh! gotta get better racewear AND a licence to even think about racing in this. Can Chepot or whoever else loan a chassis to us pretenders?
Have now the full proposal in soft format…..it’s 1MB plus so wun fit here.

I’ve put the “brochure” from Richard up on my site as well. Looks like the series might work – depends on how many guys sign up! Will have to wait and see. Btw… according to the regulations there is no need for an AAM licence.. which makes it RM200++ cheaper.

Dad doesn’t like me racing in my-kart, and he sure as heck ain’t gonna fork out 1000++ per race for the Yamaha Series. Looks like i’m gonna be adorning the mid-to rear end of my-kart for a long time.
iski – just bring your dad to one of our races. perhaps we can correct some misconceptions. i’m even sure that you can move up from the midpack.

Ya loh! I’m a father and I’ll like to bring my sons for the future events when they are slightly taller & stronger + when I can afford it.
Sorry to let you down guys, i know i can move upwards from midpack, I think i’ve got great first lap speed, but then my concentration just drops off. About my dad, try to imagine a citroen 2cv, the old one(me) trying to tow an 18 wheeler truck(my dad) the 30 kms from my house to the stadium. errgh!! I hate being a student with no money! I think after graduation and a job, I’ll get busy with my-kart for real, maybe make little “iskirina” quick so i can spoon-feed her towards karting early. I’m gonna make a baaadddd father;)

I just had a flash of inspiration! Does Rosedi sell chassis only? if so, then would it not be even more affordable to race in the SL cup? Of course my papa still says “try to break your neck on horses, at least you’re better with them.” Hmmmph! And to think that he likes racing(watching high level ones only lah, nak join jangan harap).
