Hi all. Must say that this is one very exciting forum. Yep, got to know about my-KART from Nohad, thanx so much, and have been receiving many ‘welcoming gifts’ through email from TheFazz and I’m feeling very much ‘at home’ already. With regards to the MLF Charity Go-kart Adventure ’06, as the name suggests, its purely for charity. A visit to their website http://www.liver.org.my should be self-explanatory. For the Open event, 100 karters are expected to take part in 10 heats. The 40 best times from the 10 heats will race in the quarterfinals to select the best 20 times to race in the semifinals. From there, the best 10 times will contest for the three podium places. For the Team/Endurance race, 12 teams will race for 50 laps. Each team must have only four drivers with at least one female driver among them. Oh yes entry fees are tax exempted. It will be like a carnival with exhibitions, face painting, balloons, appearance by local artistes as well as gymkana at the parking lot etc. A fun weekend for the whole family indeed. BTW, this event will feature on TV3’s MHI – 01/08/06 – 06.00-09.00am. Still looking for a team to race in the my-KART MME. Any team???????????????
Sounds very interesting. I don’t mind joining the open or anybody interested to form a team?? Regular MME Teams any takers??
ps: Fazz,Azlan,Huff or Azlee..shall we form a team??

12 laps = 15 minutes (a bit too short for endurance per driver)

Its great to know that many have shown interests to take part in this charity event. Besides the opportunity to win exciting prizes, the entry fees go a long way towards a noble cause. Anyway, Malaysian Liver Foundation will set up a counter to receive entries
and fees on Saturday 5th. Aug. ’06 from 3pm to 5pm. at City Karting, Shah Alam Stadium. Preffered mode of payment is by cheque made out to YAYASAN HEPAR MALAYSIA. Cash is also accepted and official receipt will be given. Please bring exact amount or small change. For those who cant make it please call SAM at 019-248 9210 or 016-211 2034 for other arrangements.
