Rossi tested for Ferrari F1 team rite?

This guy is multi talented and a delight to watch….2 or 4 wheels. Saw him on TV for last year’s Race of the Champions……

[quote=OSFlanker]But the Italian, who has also competed in non-championship rallies in Italy, did not make it through the first day.

For some reason I remember him not making it far through the first stage. 🙂

I just read his autobiography (a bit odd all these sports heros coming out with books well before they retire), interesting read and included stuff about his rallying. The crash was very much expected as he apparantly always crashes out on his debut in a new series/bike/car/etc… including a spin in the Ferrari F1 test.

Vale is one helluva talented racer alright!
I’ve been following him from his 125cc days and he’s not only a prolific winner but an outright entertainer as well.
I’ve never missed any of the races he’s competed in here… heck I even take time off from work to attend the many tyre/winter tests his team does in Sepang!

Go for it man! Would love to see current F1 superstars racing in other series as well. Good for Rossi to even do this and risk any negative perceptions.
