This mechanic guy named Kok Seng at CK, was commenting on my helmet when he casually said he had a brand new Arai SK5 (for karting) for sale and asked me whether I am interested to try it for fitting. I said no thanks as I am fine with what I already have. Ask him directly if you are interested (RM1700, I thought he said).25 November 2006 at 1:24 pm #3364saa73

Participanti buy bikes helmet because it is lighter… not so much of neck pain. so stick to arai, the lightest so far i can find. even shoei is heavy, bell is worse

ParticipantI believe helmets could be cheaper in Singapore and have more choices too.
I was told to go to Ah Boy’s place at Jalan Mustapha (off Serangoon Road) or something like that (Alex McNab should know the place) but I believe that place mostly sells bike helmets.
What about the approved type of helmets for car racing use?
