Thanks guys… I didn’t go track-side for long because forgot my sunscreen and the sun was scorching hot – still got a bit burnt! btw… I know I saw a few other photographers that took pics track-side, who were they – and more importantly where are their shots? 🙂

Was using my 70-200mm/F2.8 VR on a D70. Travelled light and left my 300mm/F2.8 at home and D200 at Nikon service center ;). You into photography as well?yes i am … using the canon 400D … but only got the 18-55mm … hardly use it to shoot on track days … too short … most of the time i use it for wedding receiptions instead … hehe
I’ve got an old cheap Canon 100-300/F5.6 you can use next time I come down to the track if you like, I’m pretty sure it should work on a 400D. :)… has only been used about ~10 time over the past decade :). Still have an old Canon film SLR. 😉
