Category I
[b]Existing K1 drivers Entering 125cc[/b]
Drivers will need to pay RM175 (50% of the race cost) to secure your seat. my-Kart will use the RM600 deposit from the Driver Series as the deposit. Driver can choose to pay the balance on race day or earlier.
Category II
[b]Existing K1 drivers Entering 100cc[/b]
Drivers will need to pay RM150 (50% of the race cost) to secure your seat. my-Kart will use 50% of the RM600 deposit from the Driver Series as the deposit. Driver can choose to pay the balance on race day or earlier.
Category III
[b]Existing K2 drivers Entering 125cc[/b]
Drivers will need to pay RM300 (balance for RM600 deposit) to secure your seats. Driver can choose to pay the race cost on race day or earlier.
Category IV
[b]Existing K2 drivers Entering 100cc[/b]
Drivers will need to pay RM150 (50% of the race cost) to secure your seat. my-Kart will use the RM300 deposit from the Driver Series as the deposit. Driver can choose to pay the balance on race day or earlier.
Category V
[b]Existing K3 drivers or non my-Kart members[/b]
# Please take note that drivers in this category can only race in the 100cc category. Drivers will need to pay RM300 to secure your seats. Driver can choose to pay the race cost on race day or earlier.
All drivers in this category will have to come for a pre-race(*1) under their own expenses for safety purposes. Those who failed to attend the pre-race will not be allow to participate on race day.

The pre-race is an full race simulation under the driver’s expenses. Drivers will race for 8 laps (approximate 10 minutes). This is to check if the drivers are capable of driving the 100cc karts. For drivers who has not driven a 100cc or 125cc kart before, it is advisable to practice under the driver’s expenses before the pre-race. The pre-race date, soon to be confirm.
[table Other Information]
1. For any driver that cannot attend the race without an acceptable reason, my-Kart will forfeit RM30 from the deposit.
2. All damage to the kart are the responsible of the driver.
3. There are 2 spare karts for each category. Spare karts are given to the driver following first come first serve basis.
4. Drivers can only change to a spare kart if the fault is due to engine or mechanical failure.
5. Drivers cannot change to a spare kart if the fault is due to any accident.
6. You are allowed to have a spare driver (the share of the racing cost is up to your personal discussion with the other driver) to help you race in the 10 Laps Sprint ONLY.
[table Rules & Regulations]
1. The spare driver is only allow to enter the Sprint Race.
2. The primary driver can now choose to either race both feature and sprint race on his/her own or to have a spare driver – just in case he/she is too tired to race the Sprint Race themselves.
3. As for the trophies, there are only 12 trophies. 3 for Feature Race 100cc and 125cc respectively and 3 for Sprint Race 100cc and 125cc respectively for the podium finisher. Medals for all participants. Spare drivers that did not drive will not get the medals.
4. Ballast will be use according to who is driving. So the primary driver and the spare driver will have different ballast.
5. If the spare driver is racing in the Sprint Race, and he/she wins the race, the trophy will go to the spare driver and not the primary driver.
6. The grid for Sprint Race is based on the results of the Feature Race.
7. The same kart will be use for Feature and Sprint Race, unless there are problems with the kart.
8. During the race, unless it is only engine or mechanical problem, drivers are allow to change their kart.
9. No replacement kart will be given if it was involved in an accident during race.
10. If the K1 primary driver is able to continue his/her sprint race, he/she must remain in his/her category. This also applies to the K2 primary drivers.

2) The primary driver can now choose to either race both feature and sprint race on his/her own or to have a spare driver – just in case he/she is too tired to race the Sprint Race themselves.
3) As for the trophies, there are only 6 trophies. 3 for Feature Race and 3 for Sprint Race for the podium finisher. Medals for all participants. Spare drivers that did not drive will not get the medals.
4) Ballast will be use according to who is driving. So the primary driver and the spare driver will have different ballast if their weight are different.
5) If the spare driver is racing in the Sprint Race, and he/she won the race, the trophy will go to the spare driver and not the primary driver.
6) The grid for Sprint Race is based on the results of the Feature Race.
7) The same kart will be use for Feature and Sprint Race, unless there are problems with the kart.
8) During the race, unless it is only engine or mechanical problem, drivers are allow to change their kart.
9) No replacement kart will be given if it was involved in an accident during race.

Correct. You may now have 1 or 2 drivers participating. 1 driver can compete in both the sprint and feature race or you may opt to have a 2 driver strategy whereby 1 driver participates in the sprint race and 1 driver participates in the feature race

2. when speaking about damage deposits, i m utterly concern about how our damage will be forfeited, espcially in accidents NOT due to us. Eg. we mind our own bznz trying to take a certain corner when an overtaking driver drams into u causing u to spin into the tyre barrier. having done so, u end up with a broken steering rod. Will the driver lose his deposit and the culprit driver walks away? can I suggest that in an accident situation, the “originator” of the accident should be held responsible for the damage(s) cause to other karts as well (or at least split the cost).

1. We appreciate the organizers taking time to ensure that ALL karts are in good running condition as the organizers will have to ballot to get the karts as well. However, setup changes during race day, depending on weather and driving styles, etc, esp on brake travel and tyre pressure. i think this is quite critical esp since we are running high speed endurance. At least give the drivers a 3 lap setup session before the qualifying?
3. Maybe a briefing on how the race will be stopped if it rains mid-race? May be race to be stopped if 3 drivers raise their hands to signify dangerous driving conditions? Or 3 designated drivers to raise their hand to stop the race? Position to be determined based on the previous lap before the red flag?

The Rule is :
[b]Each driver is responsible to pay for damages inflicted on his/her kart regardless who is at fault[/b]. Neither CK nor My-kart is responsible for any form of damages arising out of any incidents intentional or otherwise.
The above rule is not new and has been in force for all my-kart organised races for as long as I can remember.
However, we strongly encourage all parties involved in any incident to sportingly discuss it with a view to avoid such incidences in future. It is therefore not uncommon to find the parties involved reaching a gentleman’s agreement and finally sharing the cost of damages.

1. For any driver that cannot attend the race with an acceptable reason, my-Kart will forfeit RM30 from the deposit.
2. All damage to the kart are the responsible of the driver.

1. The spare driver is only allow to enter the Sprint Race.
2. The primary driver can now choose to either race both feature and sprint race on his/her own or to have a spare driver – just in case he/she is too tired to race the Sprint Race themselves.
3. As for the trophies, there are only 6 trophies. 3 for Feature Race and 3 for Sprint Race for the podium finisher. Medals for all participants. Spare drivers that did not drive will not get the medals.
4. Ballast will be use according to who is driving. So the primary driver and the spare driver will have different ballast.
5. If the spare driver is racing in the Sprint Race, and he/she wins the race, the trophy will go to the spare driver and not the primary driver.
6. The grid for Sprint Race is based on the results of the Feature Race.
7. The same kart will be use for Feature and Sprint Race, unless there are problems with the kart.
8. During the race, unless it is only engine or mechanical problem, drivers are allow to change their kart.
9. No replacement kart will be given if it was involved in an accident during race.

The spare karts are for those who are having some tough luck during the race and wanted to change into a spare kart. Since now there is still plenty of K2 seats available, why not try finding someone who is willing to share the seats with you.

I have notified Azlan to get me the latest update. I am aware that couple of people paid for the race during Rd6 last week. He told me that he will get it done this weekend.
As for the ambulance issue, the person who as in charge that day on the incident, is fired. That is what I have been told by CK.
Looking at the list and after talking to Naza, there will be a pre-race on Friday (yet to be confirmed by Naza once more) at 6pm. We cannot do anything this week because Ambank has taken the weekend.
For the meantime, please check the thread often for updates. Lots of preparation is being done as we speak. So please have patience and we will try our best to make the race as competitive as we can. There are only 2 guys working and traveling to CK all the time to do the preparation and there is nothing we ask for return but your patience. Please do understand. Thank you.

1.

1. The spare driver is only allow to enter the Sprint Race.
2. The primary driver can now choose to either race both feature and sprint race on his/her own or to have a spare driver – just in case he/she is too tired to race the Sprint Race themselves.
3. As for the trophies, there are only 12 trophies. 3 for Feature Race 100cc and 125cc respectively and 3 for Sprint Race 100cc and 125cc respectively for the podium finisher. Medals for all participants. Spare drivers that did not drive will not get the medals.
4. Ballast will be use according to who is driving. So the primary driver and the spare driver will have different ballast.
5. If the spare driver is racing in the Sprint Race, and he/she wins the race, the trophy will go to the spare driver and not the primary driver.
6. The grid for Sprint Race is based on the results of the Feature Race.
7. The same kart will be use for Feature and Sprint Race, unless there are problems with the kart.
8. During the race, unless it is only engine or mechanical problem, drivers are allow to change their kart.
9. No replacement kart will be given if it was involved in an accident during race.
[b]10. If the K1 primary driver is able to continue his/her sprint race, he/she must remain in his/her category. This also applies to the K2 primary drivers.[/b]

Note – I was not aware that it was possible to do M2U online transfer to a company account, hence I can’t confirm and issue receipt until I’m sure we have the credit. I’ll check with the bank, in the meantime keep yr transfer records/ref as proof.
FOr the others – I would prefer if you could bank in cash through the Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) until I’m absolutely certain that the M2U online transfer works.

You can do cash deposit, cheque deposit or even MB2U~ just update Azlan after you have done any of those. Also keep anything as a proof of transfer.

in open-source 2.0 spirit, i ask all members to also check if there are omissions on our part. sometimes, there may be two comments being updated at the same time resulting in synchronisation differences. feel free to re-post the updated table as necessary… everybody’s empowered to do so… which will result in self-regulation.
