To all karters, new or senior karters,
It’s another chicken wings session to brush up your skills or get some new tips and advice from senior karters. I will really appreciate if those who are new to karting, or new to My-Kart; whom intend to join the next round [b](Round 4) dated on April 5th, 2008[/b]; will attend this chicken wings session. Hopefully we will have at least one session where we will have a proper pre-race for all drivers (supervised by senior karters) and look out on some mistakes and the don’t(s). So that incident that happen at Round1 will not happen again or will be minimal on the actual race day. Also we will have heaps of time to teach or assist you guys on how to do the actual “rolling start”. Reason why this can’t be done on actual race day? Because everyone is busy with organizing the karts, the groups, the race and etc.

2008 will be the 6th season for my-KART’s DRIVERS (formerly known as KART) series. The 2008 season will build on the success of the previous 5 seasons.
More new challengers will be expected in 2008. How close will the competition be this year? Competition is expected to be tougher and tougher as drivers gain more experience in the series.

All my-kart members, pitstop.com.my members and fans of the A1 Team Malaysia are invited to join the special “race with the fans” event featuring the A1 Team Malaysia crew and drivers.
The event format will be team based race. We are targeting to get 18 teams of 4 drivers per team – for a 100 minutes endurance. Qualifying is another 20mins.
Team : 4 drivers
race : 100mins endurance + 20mins qualifying heat
Fees : RM350 / team (80cc) – partly subsidised (you cannot get this rate at other times)
RACE SCHEDULE:
7.30am – 8.00am : Payment collection
8.00am – 8.30am : Briefing & kart assignment
8.30am – 8.50am : Qualifying Heat
8.50am – 9.10am : Release of qualifying result
9.10am – 10.50am : Endurance Race (3 pit stops)
10.50am – 11.30am : Podium ceremony and closing

Dear Committee,
I am hereby giving you 7 day’s notice to convene a very short meeting to agree on the following resolution.
Resolution: “The General Committee hereby authorises the Club Treasurer to re-apply for a bank account for the club, at Maybank Kota Damansara branch”
After making the latest enquiries with Maybank Kota Damansara on the status of the Club’s bank account application, it seems that the bank has deleted the application from their database and destroyed the original documents. Therefore, the club needs to re-apply for a bank account and submit a resolution from the existing General Committee as part of the application.
I will prepare the resolution for discussion and approval by the committee right after my-KART’s DRIVER Round 1, on Jan 12th.

A session for the new drivers to get familiar with the track one last time before Round 1, 2008 begins. A session for the buayas to have fun and socialise. Also for everyone to have their practise before the season starts. Or just for people to hang out and chit chat about karting, karaoke, makan and etc.

This is a placeholder for the my-KART Chicken Wings session.
Chicken Wings will be a permanent feature of the 2008 my-kart season. Chicken wings is essentially a practice session for all seasoned and novice karters.
Novices are advised to participate in chicken wings before joining the season proper. Here you can expect to get tips from the regulars.
Session timings will be subject to change from time to time.
