1.1 DRIVER AND KART ALLOCATION
The K1 series will be limited to available karts prepared by the Operators. For the 2012 season, the Operator will prepare 15 karts, equaling 30 available seats. However, my-kart may set aside a few karts as spares. Any additional demand for kart seats will need to be notified to the Operator at least ONE week in advance of the race event.
Driver allocation to karts will be based on the closest physical fit between the 2 drivers, based on weight and height.
For the 2012 season, the Operators will prepare new 150cc 4-stroke karts – which replaces the aging 125cc rotax juniors from the previous seasons.
Newbie Question : Are we will running the RK-1 engine for K1 cat this season..?? And no more Junior Max..?? 😉

and i did apply officially in here on 3 July 2011 for the probation to K1
which i suppose to be observed from Round 8 to Round 10, total of 3 races. 🙂

However starting from the 14th of january, everything will be sorted out. I was hoping if i could enter into one of the K3 races (taking place after the 14th of january)? If it’s after 14th Jan, then it’ll be Round 2 on Feb 4th. Registration should open after this Sat’s Rd1 race(7th Jan). See you there in Rd 2.

do however, take note that for the 2012 K1 season (to be confirmed) – the top 10 K3-45 and top 5 K3-70 drivers are automatically eligible (with probation) for K1. those that fall outside this, will go through the “request” based approach.
