The KART series moves into the 4th season in 2006 and continues with seasoned myKARTers battling out with new challengers and old hands alike in order to claim top honours… and hence, bragging rights as THE BEST AMATEUR KARTER in the Klang Valley *grin*.6
Expect some close racing throughout the year as many of the drivers from continue to improve their performance and gain vital time on the regulars.

Reuters told that the round 9 k3 champion would make way for the new comers when Ramsey’s contract expires with team novice by the end of the season.

To clear the air on the matter above, Team NOVICE pricipal and founder Patrick TAN denied any report or rumours that one of the Team NOVICE’s STAR driver Ramsey’s contract will be terminated at the end of the season.
Ramsey’s contract with Team NOVICE will be in force as long as the team member is happy to be with the team.
Team NOVICE currently in 4th place with 37 points (only 4 points away from the tied 2nd teams of ALIENS & GILA Racing) will be looking forward to a strong podium finish in the coming rd5 endurance at ELITE PLUS circuit on 23 Sept 06.

Michael Birt from WorkSafe said two prohibition notices had been served on Auscarts Indoor Racing, based in Port Melbourne.
The notices stop the organisation from operating any go-karts or using the track until they have been approved as safe by inspectors.”
i have only been to this track once, and never actually drove at that place cos never a fan of indoor karting. typical indoor kart stuff, narrow n lots of 90degree turns. just a sad way to end your life…

CityKarting play it safe for Ramsey
CityKarting have promised the k3 round 9 winner, Ramsey Sabelt the most reliable engine they can come up with for the final round 10 championship.
Ramsey needs another at least 11 points or 5th to seal his 5th spot in the championship.
He told reuters “Close battle, especially 5th-10th spot position. Everyone wants it”
His agent added: “Ramsey is not going to give up a chance to win if he sees that it is possible.
He also wouldn’t want to give any further comments on his current teammate engine failure during last race.
“Instead, we will work on making our current motor fully efficient.” he added.

In a difficult position for me too in the overall championship. Tough to catch Alex & Luen and am afraid of Huffiz, Lumba Haram, Jin, Henzee and Horseman overtaking me in the points.
So must block them kau-kau if they come.
At least in k-70 I have hope to try for 3rd overall.
Hope my run of bad luck has ended.

One more new buaya coming to terms with current buayas is also call “buaya kacau daun”, especially for the front runners. Hopefully, these buayas will join the unpredictable k2 dogfights next year, especially the k3/70 guys (banyak susah cari makan in k3 lah!)

it was indeed a “susah cari makan” day today!…I managed to retain my 7th position in K2 by the skin of my teeth, coming in just one point ahead of Alex “Chicken Buster” McNab, and thanks to the valiant efforts of Jules “Sifu” Ng who denied Alex the 2nd place, and hence that vital 2 points that would have enabled him to secure #7 ahead of me!
Overall a good, balanced season, no major incidents and fun times enjoyed at each race.
True to the “susah mau cari makan” theme of the season, and today’s race, I could not even find lunch at our usual “Restoran Agora” as they all seemed to just return from Raya….I went home on an empty stomach went to sleep laa!
Looking forward to our Enduro and end of year “lepas geram” races on Dec 2!

Rd10 can be officially be awarded with “susah to cari makan” day with sifu & big time buayas around for K2 & K3 alike.
1st heat was acceptable to me and the best part was seeing Ashraff stopping at the track side while in 2nd place. I was [IMG]http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l34/nohadv6/Icons/smileyhystericallaugh.gif[/IMG] when I saw that. I only knew that the kart that I took now numbered as #1 is the kart formerly numbered #13 (a jinx to me in the previous rounds) after the race. Heat 2 was a dissapointment to me using kart no.7, the kart has no low end torque and I was struggling coming out of slow corners. It so sad to be just able to YY, (couldn’t remember who) & Ashraff just in front of me but I couldn’t catch up to them due to slow take-off and jeopardize my chance of qualifying for K2 MOET class Final A. It was really surprising to see our founder Fazz & co-founder Shahrul (saa73) occupying the last 2 places in the K2 qualifying standings. I believe it is a secret tactic so that they could start from the front row.[IMG]http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l34/nohadv6/Icons/tongue.gif[/IMG]
I could see Fazz dropped back in the K2 coca-cola cup league start and I was stuck behind Azlan. I followed Azlan for a couple of laps and Luen caught up and overtook me before attacking Azlan and overtook him. I pressured Azlan after that and managed to overtake him after the mickey mouse turns coming into the turn before start/finish straight.
