    Thanks to Citykarting, we will have an added twist to the Round 8 race: successful drivers in round 8 will be eligible to compete in the support race for the AKOC (organised by CityKarting) on 25th September. See link for more info:

    The support race for the AKOC will be held on Sunday 25th Sept. This will be a sort of shoot out from the top 5 finishers of both the K2 and K3 classes in Round 8 plus 5 other championship drivers (prizes donated by CityKarting).

    Karts will be ballotted and assigned on the evening before (24th Sept), and weights and tuning would be done then. Eligible drivers will have the chance to test and fine tune their karts on Saturday evening before the karts go into parc ferme in preparation for the Sunday’s race.

    So for those keen on testing their worth in a high profile arena, this is your chance. Let me know if you guys are keen.

                RM100 for 80cc kart – you get around 30 minutes testing on Saturday and 2 x 10 lap races on Sunday.

             Geng, this is one high profile event to catch talent scouters eyes…..so I would rather urge and support mykarters with ambitions to go beyond the amateur level. Me? its more of a passion and hobby. Yeah!!

             6. In addition to Fazz’s annouce
                In addition to Fazz’s annoucement, i would like to add this :

                1) a minimum weight will be stipulated for kart & driver, which limit is yet to be finalised. Weight shall be measured at end of each race. Underweight means DNF.

                2) anyone racing in this AKOC event must wear a full race suit, gloves and shoes. Enclosed full face helmets will be necessary.

                Please remember those who qualify will race in an international event, watched by international/regional teams and media will be in attendance.

                It is a showcase for grassroot karting, and for MyKart in particular. Drive hard, drive fair & be professional!
