Despite the pouring rain
Despite the pouring rain last night, we had a decent turnout at the “Northern Chapter” of the My-Kart TT session.
saa73 aka AJK Makan was there on the dot at 9.30pm followed not so long after by OSFlanker. Surprise surprise Ed “Nasi Lomak” turned up in his “new” VW Golf to disrupt our little “date” heh heh.
The crowd turned up in full force by 10pm, with Yusnee, Nohad + kids, Sabelt (yup, got his visa!), theFazz & Ju, and my cousin Wolf (supplier of the Team HPC models) and associate Megat joining in to enjoy the teh tarik and french fries and cool after rain breeze that blew through the restaurant.
Luen turned up near midnight and shortly after, due to Sabelt’s craving for real “mamak” food, we adjourned to Restoran Naina Mohamed for the real TT deal! theFazz unveiled his mamak tendencies by ordering his 2nd dinner of maggi goreng, and AJK Makan naturally ordered his 2nd dinner of the night, the awesome garlic naan..yum! and Sabelt went for the all time mamak favourite…chicken chop!
Discussions were in full flow around topics such as the K1 series, nasi lomak business, politics, how to set up a mamak corner in theFazz’s new house, and food (sorry, that was me again.. go to http://www.friedchillies.com , my friend set this up to satisfy his love for food, around the same time Fazz and I started my-kart…and now he’s got a book out!!..hmm…
In all it was a successful and enjoyable TT session, and discussions already underway for the next TT session, or perhaps buka puasa since we’re about to enter the fasting month…any suggestions ?

Anyway, after your excellent review, I brought the missus the next morning to the “Raja Soup” shop in TTDI for breakfast but it has yet to open for business (apa ni… oredi past 9am mah…) darn!
Gotta go again before the start of Ramadhan…
