@lovef1 – first of all, welcome to my-kart.

we hope that you find this site / group / club useful for your racing interests.

the first thing to find out is what are your ambitions / plans in relation to karting. this is important as karting is not a cheap hobby.

as a start, you should join one or a few of our races. there you can meet with some of the members and have a feel of karting in a (albeit entry level) competition.

    Hi there!

My advice : don’t buy a kart or any kart yet until you are very clear with your objective in pursuing karting and racing in general. Like Fazz said, karting is not cheap although it is the most affordable form of motorsports on 4 wheels. Assuming you have little or no experience in karting than come and watch or better still join our K3 races ( RM90 per race) as a very quick way to understand what it takes to be a karter, casual or serious. My-kart is a racing – mad community (… nice bunch is an understatement) with members from students, working adults and retirees (including working retirees…unfortunately in my case) from whom you can learn a lot about racing and the machine.

…join us in round 9 for starters.
