Also, admin wise, we should allow the appointed officials to make the bookings – ie one of the committee members should be responsible for this..I believe there’s an “Events” or “technical” post..right, Naza?

bro, i am thinking that the my-kart paid members would pay (say) RM250 per K1/CRG round. the CRG/125cc is a sufficient differentiator to the 100cc rentals to warrant a price differential:
[table class|cost|member price|non-member price|diff to prev class
K3/80cc|RM80|RM80|RM90|n/a
K2/100cc|RM160|RM160|RM170|+RM80 & +RM80
K1/CRG/PRD125cc|RM160|RM250|RM300|+RM90 & +RM130]this extra margins would be useful for the club coffers. the margin for the K1 is also important given that year 2 & 3 increases would be additional RM10 each year. Also the margin will need to cater for the potential under utilisation if we run less than the allocated number of karts we requested.[/quote]
Perhaps a discount can be given for MyKart members who commit to the CRG/PRD for an X number of races (prepaid scheme)? Say RM220 for 3 races prepaid and RM200 for 5 races prepaid. This would help in getting the minimum numbers required.

At the moment, Luen’s scope covers “event” and I have volunteered to closely support him (for no reason, I like Luen la..hehehe 🙂 but the Technical matters is under our sifu Jules, if I am not wrong.Now that we have elected the club’s main committee, the first Main Committee meeting will have to convene soon within a month from 28th April 07 as the Sports Commissioner will expect the first report or face a summon…aiyoh, tough la these guys!

Shall we formally call one after the May 5th race – at the usual makan place or we could even go to another Shah Alam eatery (Sabelt has some recommendations)…

[/quote]no problems. we should have a quick one to re-establish the roles. now, the only thing is the constitution prescribes a few roles already. i am just wondering whether it will be compatible with the ones we’ve previously defined.
the other items on the agenda may be –
a. decision and way forward re the CRG/PRD offer
b. my-KART launch updatesfazz

Exactly folks,
We need to “realign” roles of people prescribed prior to the recent AGM and the roles spelt out in the current constitution (clause 18.6)namely:1. AJK Kewangan
2. AJK Pembangunan (Development)
3. AJK Teknikal
4. AJK Pemilihan
5. AJK Pertandingan
6. AJK TatatertibWe can adjust to suit if the above is not suitable.
Btw, I was wrong in stating that we need to have a MC meeting within a month instead we need to submit only the financial report within 30 days after the AGM…that I will do.
