ParticipantIts currently 170 right? So, in return for the CRG + new 100cc PRD, he wants straight away 180 including ambulance service.
Agree that we can commit to 10 races per year BUT based on number of drivers available in each round and not 13 karts CK made available. The Enduro should not be in the calculation as response to this event is uncertain so far.

current my-kart member rate is 160. we charge 170 to non-members.

ParticipantFolks, some update below:
AP threw yet another fire cracker into the CRG + 100cc package. He is seriously thinking of the option to offer my-kart the CRG + Rotax Max 125 Junior instead of the CRG + PRD 100 package. This is subject to him acquiring up to 12 Rotax Junior engines (he has already 6 units now), in time for my-kart Grand Finale on 1st December 2007 (Luen, better book this date early bro!)
….just wait for his reply to Luen’s recent email.

ParticipantLast Sunday, some of you guys (Patrick, Luen, Desmond, Jack Soo, Ruben, Mumu….who else?) managed to ‘hantam’ CK’s CRG/125 test kart a few laps each. So how did you find it? …..was it gooooodddzzzzzz?

Patrick is excluded from the above list 🙁 becos mumu got frust that I refused to pay the premium price to keep the rain away, so he let the rain come after he lanyak the kart kau-kau. 😛

ParticipantFolks, some update on the CRG kart:
After trying out the CRG for a few laps (ahem!…some of us did more than just a few laps), Fazz and I finally got AP to say it. The 10 CRG karts will be ready to run in conjunction with our one off 2 hour enduro on December 1. Of course, whether we can actually run it on 1st December as a K1 trial event depends on your interest and response in this category.

ParticipantBtw Folks,
Assuming that races using the CRG karts will in fact be a reality come 1st December or in the round 1 of 2008, we need to discuss the pros and cons of the following:1. Eligibility to participate
1.1 Only to my-kart members who have paid their current dues? However, there could be a possibility that this action could be seen by my-kart website members as ‘elitist’ perhaps?
1.2 The other option is to open it to all qualified drivers (will have to define “qualified drivers”)but giving “good discounts” to kelab my-kart members with the intention to attract more members.2. Selection of Drivers
2.1 Current K2 and K1 categorised drivers can qualify automatically
2.2 K3 drivers or others will need to satisfy my-kart committee / senior drivers
2.3 A my-kart committee to approve eligible drivers should formalised asap. Please discuss.

eligibility – i would like to keep to paid members… not to be elitist, but will need some form of differentiation for those who have paid their dues. this is supposed to be a deal that should attract more paying members.
driver selection – agree with your suggestion on K2 and K1 eligibility and selection panel.

Participantguys,
Not sure if it matters but here’s my comment after a run in the kart last Sat.
– the kart set up was….none. Due to the power delivery of the Junior Max engine, your kart will snap into oversteer easily mid corner esp with these tyres. So best to have more grip at rear.
– otherwise, you need to be smooth n gentle with throttle to avoid the above, which to most who are exposed to rental karts – requires some seat time to familiarise.
– yes, ballast is needed for this class cos otherwise, dun bother cos you wun get a equal racing anymore.cheers,
