Memberbro Devan,
mana ada free ticket… budget cuts means that numbers of tickets being reduced every year. anyway, last time I got free tickets meant that I had to keep my overt Williams support to the very minimum, and grit my teeth everytime Ferrari strolled to victory. *lol*
but I can see what you mean about F1 being over hyped non event. To a certain extent, I agree… but one single thing that makes it all worth it would be the wonderful sound of the V10 engines screaming past you. Simply amazing… and you can more or less appreciate the kind of driving skills demonstrated by different drivers.

Participanti used to go to the races too, initially when marconi was sponsoring renault, later when i was mad enough to actually fork out my own dough to endure the heat, the crazy traffic, and the exorbitant prices they charge for food/drinks,but i’ve come to my senses lately and decided to spend my money on MotoGP instead.
in fact, one F1 hillstand ticket for raceday alone will get me 3 MotoGP weekend pass for the grandstand. and the race thrill is just as great,if not better.
okaaayyy…i’m a bit of a mat motor. heck,i even attend the winter tests the MotoGP teams carry out in SIC!
but i may consider going again this year,if i can convince my boss to dish out free tickets to our customers again… 😀23 February 2005 at 1:52 am #1693OSFlanker

Fazz, there are a few cars with V10 engines that have almost the same noise – the Carrera GT and the new BMW E60 M5! Save the F1 tix money to invest then maybe you can hear the V10 everyday???!!!

Right on, Fazz.
Every year, without fail, my heart beats increase when I walk towards the stand, hearing the V10 roar from distance when the drivers are doing their practises……..the feeling………priceless!
