It is definitely a part that could improve performance – it effects how fast/efficiently the gears are selected.

As mentioned though it doesn’t matter if it’s performance enhancing or not. A driver could have a 300cc 40hp engine strapped in and win the race and even though he put himself at a massive disadvantage he’d still be dq’d for not meeting the tech regulations.

To dq the team from the entire championship though shows that the scrutineers probably felt it and the previous infraction were more than just honest mistakes.

Too bad for Jazeman to lose out because of two dq’s but I’m sure he can challenge for the title next year again.

But i guess, it’s winter season, F1 needs some news to keep the interest there 😉 Ha… 😕

almost 3 months after being stripped of the Formula BMW Asia championship, Jazeman and team Qi-Meritus have managed to get the ruling to be reversed effectively handing the title back to the youngest ever Formula BMW Asia champion…

he wins after all. well done. :up: :up:

Yup, well done Jazeman! :up: :up: :up: ….and his very supportive dad. Europe beckons and more hard work and challenges awaiting for son and dad.

The next Malaysian hopeful will most likely come from within the ranks of my-kart club? Will leave the forecasting job to my dedicated friend!

no link…..verbal account from Wai Leong plus some of his crews on Saturday.

I did see Jazman on Friday’s Astro Sports interview and he seemed as though this was now official…and I even sms Jaz congratulating him – to which he replied….a thanks.

Dunno who to believe hence I will not just jump to a conclusion altho I know who I want win….
