Memberagree that we need to think about this. but we also need to be clear about the following sponsorship benefits:
per season
per race / event
per teamthen you have “grades of sponsors”
title sponsor
technical sponsor
partner
etcwe need to set these sponsorship matrices to come up with some idea on how to handle the various contribution so that we are not arbitrarily creating benefits for the sponsors.

ParticipantThink we can use some weighing formula to class sponsorship, then we can group accordingly. Example as below;
[table Company|Money|PYear|PTeam|techical|partner|LTerms|Weight|Percentage
Shell|1|1|0|0|0|1|3|50
ING|1|0|1|1|0|1|4|66.67
televas|0|1|0|0|0|0|1|16.67]25 June 2007 at 5:52 am #5027luen
Participantall we need is to identify/class all criteria.

Participant..one of the options….perhaps we can put the small logo patches on the designed mykart shirt…
Maybe we could have a meeting on this..

Participantwe were thinking like, stickers for helmet and badges for racing suit. Depeding on the sponsorship weight as mentioned above. We ought to refresh these sponsorship every year and or periodically.
Example, if one time event sponsorship, we can printer sticker for kart or helmet.
If long term sponsorship like yearly, we can make badges for racing suit or helnet and will be required to have these logos on every event.

i was thinking of a matrix (preliminary for discussion) like this:
[table type|season|event|team
title sponsor|brand name before trophy: eg. TeleVAS KART Championship 2007; brand visibility on website, event banners|brand name before event name: eg. ING Round 6; brand visibility on all karts (stickers)|brand name before team: eg. Shell Tail Happy Racing; brand visibility on team karts (stickers)
technical sponsor|brand visibility on website, event banners, exclusive supply & mention in reports|stickers on karts, helmets; supply|n/a
partner|brand visibility on website, event banners|n/a|n/a]obviously title sponsors is higher contributors & hence higher profile, and partners are joint efforts.
we should also inventorise all the sponsorship spaces we have for “sale” eg…
stickers…. (team, event & season sponsors)
helmet – 1 space
kart sidepod – 2 spaces
kart front fairing – 1 spacebadges…. (only for season sponsors)
racing suit waist – 1 space
racing suit right / left chest – 2 spaces
racing suit arms – 2 spaces
racing suit legs – 2 spaces
racing suit shoulder – 1 space
racing suit back – 1 spacebanners & buntings…. (event & season sponsors)
buntings – numbers on demand
banners – numbers on demandtrack furniture… (event & season sponsors)
a-boards – numbers on demand
track sideboards – numbers on demandwebsite… (season sponsors only)
website decals – numbers on demand
overall website design, colour scheme etc – only for title sponsorwhat do you think?

Participant:up: I agree…. we need a guideline to make things clear for everybody/sponsors
Yes, we should put our sponsors brand name on karts, buntings etc
but on members racing suits 😕 Hmmm… If it’s F.O.C. maybe ok!….on our Club/Official Shirt NICE! 😉

Participantlike the idea, is more clearer now.
There should be 2 main sponsorship categories, 1 to the club and the other to individual or team.
The team sponsor I see only IC3 or endurance event, that should belongs to indivual category. However, the sponsor for season and event also can be team, meaning that a company sponsoring a team full season and also per event basis. That we can conclude the team category only applicable to individual team.
[table type|season(team)|event(team)|team(team)
title sponsor|upto individual, Team banners|upto individual|upto individual
technical sponsor|upto indidivual| upto individual|upto individual
partner|upto individual|upto individual|upto individual][table type|season(club)|event(club)
