Points noted.

ParticipantPatrick,
can you please confirm that my pointers are what we will follow on race day?
please also indicate how many laps we are racing….
I suggest 10laps for Heat 1 & 2…..
and for Finals, 12 laps
If you can get more, ok also but limit is 15 for finals.
The reason for the slightly extended laps is because I expect some drivers COULD be lapped and these will drive one lap less.
Please also make sure they have enough weights on stand-by ( inclusive of bolts and nuts ) and some time allocation to fix these weights on last minute entries to meet your 165kgs. Needless to say, a weighing scale on that day is very needed too.
Thanks.

This is confirmed.
My suggestion is as follows :
1) Get a 15min slot to do a WARM UP and also Qualifying combo…..which mean you get the chance to try the kart and also post a lap time for grid of heat 1
2) Heat 1 grid determined by qualifying.
3) Heat 2 grid determined by Heat 1 finish.
4) Finals grid determine by heat 1 & 2 finishing order ( point format )
I dun agree to normal MyKart reverse grid order cos of safety.
The tyres you be using will be a shock to most of you. No grip on braking, no grip on acceleration. Hence the 15min practise is important.

No objection to this format but need to re-confirm with CK regarding the transponders.
But I know the transponders will be used during the 80cc endurance.

Jules,
I was told by AB that you are renting the Parilla powered kart. Is this correct?Secondly, since you will only see us on Race day, could you please ensure that AB has your weight+gear and tell him if you need to add ballast.

No idea abt Parilla….must be a very old engine…aiyoh! I drive what they prepare for me.
AB knows my weights and yes – I already told him to place weights…….but if he do it or not, well – let’s see.
Fazz, thanks.

1 set of new Apexis 65 tyresThe tyres you be using will be a shock to most of you. No grip on braking, no grip on acceleration. Hence the 15min practise is important.
Btw, to get a timing for qualifying, you need transponder which I hope is included in pricing.

Tried out the MW/Rotax Max with Apexis 65 tyres today.
Verdict : OMG! Where’s the grip?
There is so much power on the kart but not much grip and you are practically playing drifting on the parabolic! It’s going to be a field day for the video filmers.
Yup, transponders will be provided for the 125cc & 80cc endurance karts.
