JJ, care to describe a bit more on why you thought its not suitable? Boy, I was also contemplating to buy it these few days. Traction not enough relative to another brand? Maybe it slides without much warning perhaps? What was it bro?

ParticipantThe compound is more for road car tyres. Need something heavy to get the grip. Urm, I’ve had over 30-40 laps on it already and still the kart slides. The tires at the end of the last time I ran on it was starting to be sticky (i think it’s the heat the tyre generated) so I can’t say anything. U know the second long straight at City Karting, a slight turn to the right, the Kart instead of turning in will drift sideways from the left to the right. The tyre in my opinion will last long, but not enough grip for something as light as a go kart. Just wrong tyres. Just plain wrong.

fairuz fauzy in GP2 (european f1 support race)
“Dams – 14: Jose Maria Lopez (ARG) 15: Fairuz Fauzy (MAL)
Dams are another team with a long and rich history in motorsport, and it enters the GP2 series hoping to continue this fine tradition. With Jose Maria Lopez at the wheel of one of its cars, it has yet another driver who many pundits are tipping for title glory. The Argentine racer is confident ahead of the season’s start, and will know the majority of circuits we will be visiting having spent 2004 racing in F3000. His team-mate Fairuz Fauzy is something of an unknown quantity but has proved himself to be able in testing. 2005 will be a learning year for the Malaysian, with Dams committed to his future as a challenger in 2006.”http://www.f1-live.com
no surprise the car is painted in a familiar light pale-green scheme

Participant
Just got an email from the Pan Global guys asking me to join the kart race this sunday 27th march 2005 at sunway kartquest. Then straight away i called them up as soon as i read the email. Know what guys!?..for those who have raced last year if u wanna compete this year, the fees is rm200! Really nuts! N the karts there like s**t! I really can’t believe it paying rm200 for a 4 stroke kart and u r struggling hard to the finish line…ha ha ha. Anyway, my-kart did an excellent job, price r reasonable…!!
Any mykarter made it into the top 5 Q Finals in the 2nd round at Sunway last couple of weeks?

I think those tires from 911 Zentrum are meant for 4 stroke karts which are heavier.

ParticipantRan with quite some laps with the tyres. It just wont produce grips. I think it’s for smaller power karts. Not suitable for MAx 125’s. No grip produced.
