mechnics : maybe can rent the local mechanics, got to talk to the track operator and find out.

May be we can treat this as family vacation/outing.. can check in 1/2 night stay in hotel near by the track. Night actvity could be makan-makan.

I would like to suggest a date: 17th.18th oct, 22th, 23th oct, 29th 30th oct 2009. These date falls on saturday & Sunday. Need to check city karting race date also.
