Racing for Children – possible charities

I’m not sure whether we have concluded the decision of getting a charity home for our charity event but I just want to update this with you guys..

Ive just being approached by Dr Tan of Gleaneagles Intan, a volunteer for Perak Foundation Training Centre & Home for Handicapped whom had appealed for medical, education and welfare fund for the said centre. From what I have been informed, the mentally-disabled shelter is desperately needed equipment like medical oxygen monitor, treadmills, wheel chairs & medical beds and their ages are between 4-35 years old. Maybe we can include this in our charity race to improve their lives to be independent so that they could earn a living. The news about the shelter has been publicised widely in the Star newspaper and is also has been acknowledged by Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye and I think this should be a great exposure for mykart..Further details to be included if interested..
