Speaking of reality TV, how do you guys think about motorsport related programme? In UK, there was a show (I think call “Who wants to be a Grand Prix Driver”) where the winner gets a test drive with Jordan.
If there is such a show in Malaysia, would you watch it? If the show is made in Malaysia, would you participate???
I think that most reality TV shows are cheesy and contrived. So I’d not want to be involved in any thing that I see as such.
Having said that, I fully believe that there is a place for motorsports in reality TV. To a certain extent, all televised sports events are in fact reality TV. And there are those canny sports promoters who leverage on this by bringing the audience much closer to the human elements. I fully believe that this is what makes such sports viewing so compelling and addictive.
So if there is a motorsports related reality TV, I would follow or participate if it is a bona fide motorsports activity.
