Memberyazid – just wondering. do you need to do any editting before uploading the vids on youtube? looks like a lot of work. but the shots are clear and captures quite a lot of the action.
i hope that somebody is archiving these footages as it can be used for future promo videos.

Participantthe video definitely needs to be edited but the task is a breeze actually once you know which software to use (i.e PC’s Windows Movie Maker, Mac’s iMovie, Ulead Video Studio).
which software you were using, mr. yazid?

Participant1st question. I can try to upload it to My-Kart You tube. Have not explored that possibility as I am new to you tube.
2nd question. Bombee994 is right that I need to edit the video 1st before uploading. 1stly I need to ensure it is less than 10 minutes and 2ndly it is not beyond 100Mb. I am using Windows Movie Maker which is not that difficult. You just need big RAMs coz if not it sometime hangs. Well windows ma…
To upload to youtube sometimes take an hour for a 10 min clip of 70-80MB in size. To capture the video from the camera to the PC is same time of the video clip length. The system will then create clips for maybe about 5 mins. Then the editing job which may take 30 min. Followed by the final processing which can take between 10-15 min for 10 min clip before uploading.
You may be wondering why am taking a long time to do the editing. Well, I was very a little bz recently and I can do this only at home. My weekends were occupied but nevertheless, I will upload what ever remaining I have after editing them. Just need some time. Need to view the video in full while editing.
I still have not uploaded the K2 Group C Qualifying and the Final Races. I may only have the K2 top group Final Race and the K3 Final Race. Not enough tape and was also a little confused on the few races and groups of the K2 category while capturing
I am currently the only one having the archives, but Fazz if you want them I can burn it for you. Just give me sometime.

Memberyazid – no hurries bro. i guessed that it is a lot of work. your efforts are greatly appreciated. and looking at the times of your post… thank you thank you.
as for the archives – i do not necessarily require this but would think that we need to setup a my-kart video archival process. not sure how long youtube allows us to keep the videos.
btw, i just approved the videos to be posted to the my-kart youtube group. most (if not all) of yazid’s videos are there.

ParticipantSome corrections bro,
K2 Group C Qualifying (should be k2 Group A Q2) – Muhaymin finished P1 at half pace..Pah!
K2 Final A (I think?) (should be k2 group C, Q2) – P1 by Nazri Ng.
K2 Final B (I think ?) – Correct.

brilliant footage. well done nazri. he pulled quite a decisive move on yusnee. well done desmond as well for moving to 2nd on the last lap. yusnee for defending and maintaining position as long as possible. but who was the guy to had kart problems after challenging yusnee early on?
