ParticipantCome on, guys. I don’t mind spending a little more money to get a place that is not haunted. As long as the price is affordable.

ParticipantWhere is it? Any website or telephone number? Thanks.

ParticipantI will be going to Shah Alam track for K3 race. Then after the race, I will go back to Taiping, Perak. I am now an USM engineering student and currently still on holiday. I am now still staying at Taiping.

ParticipantThanks for the praise, Jules. Actually, I am not that good. What Raja Razman taught me are just basic things like ABC, flags and safety equipment. After all, it is just a basic go-kart course organized by Perak government. The only racing experience I have is just Pan Global race last year at Batu Kawan, Penang. My impatient and lack of racing skill costs me the chance to qualify for the grand final as I just finished 11 out of 12 in the qualifier final. Anyway, it is very difficult for me to get to Shah Alam track and most probably, I can only make it at next month’s race. But if I do make it, I intend to make most of it and learns something from you all. Once again, thanks for all your help.

ParticipantThanks, guys. I am considering whether I can make it to the track so that I can race to gain some race experience. There are only a few things I can do at Taiping and Penang, that is waiting for the government to organize go-kart courses. It is very difficult for me to go all the way from Taiping to Klang Valley, a place I am totally not familar with but it is not that impossible. If everything fall in accordingly, I may get to come to race.
Okays, you all have clarified on how to get there and I can only arrive at the track only on taxi or personal transport, but not LRT and bus. But, what about going back to Puduraya? Is it difficult to get a taxi? How long should I wait for a taxi? I am affaid that I may be “struck” at there.
Anyway, if I do come, I will be happy to race as this chance does not come frequently to me. Hopefully, I can learn some racing skills from your all. Thanks.

ParticipantThanks, Fazz for your support. Alex’s podium has silenced the critics. It is the time we stop pointing our fingers to him and start supporting him, morally and financiallly. The corporate company should start sponsoring Team Malaysia just like Proton. This was Alex said: ” Having Proton on board has made such a difference for the team, as we have been able to concentrate on the racing rather than getting to the next race.”

Participant
Alex Yoong….hhmm, I am not too sure about that. Talent wise, you can see from A1GP he is not the most talented driver out there. Otherwise he would be fighting for podium finishes every race, which he is not.
Well, I am not quite argee with you. I think that he is one of those most skilled. It is just that his car does not have the set up as optimal as Team France’s set-up. You see, Alex Yoong once said that Team France is supported by Kodak Engineering, an expert in GP2 series. The conclusion is that Team France has more expertise, more financial resources to do testing. Team Malaysia may lack in expertise and financial resources, so they can’t challenge for podium even that Alex Yoong is very experienced.
Hopefully, once Team Malaysia gain enough expertise and financial resources, we can see Alex standing on podium.

ParticipantWell then, will all college and university (public and private) get to participate if possible?
I argee with the format you all have suggested. But , why not using funkart in the race? Are you suggesting the racers from schools, college and university have the needed experience? I thought that they may have the interest but are still new to karting.
