ParticipantYou should gain experience by joining our races.
I would jump straight to 125 if you want to buy something. If you buy an 80 or 100cc, there’s not a lot you can do with them other than practice, you may as well rent.
CK organise 125 races from time to time and they are great for getting some race experience, which as I found is totally different from going around and around on your own.
Coincidentally, I’m selling my 125MAX if you are interested, RM6000
Good luck and best wishes,
Chris

ParticipantIn a ruling that could have major implications on the outcome of the 2009 World Championship, the International Court of Appeal has ruled that the diffusers of Brawn GP, Toyota and Williams are legal.
‘The FIA International Court of Appeal has decided to deny the appeals submitted against decisions numbered 16 to 24 taken by the Panel of the Stewards on 26 March at the 2009 Grand Prix of Australia and counting towards the 2009 FIA Formula One World Championship.
‘Based on the arguments heard and evidence before it, the Court has concluded that the Stewards were correct to find that the cars in question comply with the applicable regulations.

I was surprised nobody shouted “SPEECH!”
Well done to all, it was a good day after a sloppy throttle cable Q1, brakes that were locked on permanently in Q2.. then no brakes at all Q3. All sorted for a decent run in the final. Hope to do better next time when my chassis is re-welded

Participant

Can your rivals take pics and “more” with your ladies? We’ll “try” not to overtake you during the race :)
Deal, although the “more” is at your own risk and the “try” must be a commitment!! pssst, Abg Zul… strategy is starting to work
Just keep it limited to pics 😉

Chris – I hope ur ribs are better now and I was kinda worried cos I know what’s it’s like to drive with a bad rib…..i have broken 2 ribs to tell u plenty stories, so please take care!
Thanks Jules,
Things have finally settled down today. It was one of the muscles connections in the lower back region that was causing the problem. I’ve done 100’s of practice laps using the OMP protector and D2’s with no problems at all. Just goes to show what can happen over time. Lesson learned

ParticipantIt was a good event.
During the qualifying I found some space and started to push.
Suddenly felt as though someone had stabbed me in the ribs and had to stop. Only managed to set a time just under 57s.Managed to complete the event. Quite disappointed as this time the kart was great but the driver was a turkey.
Great to see Mizi and Hanif on the podium.
Hope to be fit for then next open, and round 3
