I must say it was a great racing in KKS , When i started this , i only have 2 things in mind, push as hard and as consistent as i can and bring the kart back in one piece. 😛 .
I must say it was quite competitive , especially the qualifying. everyone’s lap time was almost identical with just about 3-5 tenth of sec difference from the top 5 qualifiers. where i qualified 4th on grid.
and the rolling start is way much more stricter. a slight fall outside the white line before the green flag will be penalized.The race in Heat 1 and 2 was like synchronized swimming 😛 everyone doing the same thing taking the same line and etc. a slight deviation off the racing line will see you dropping in position(s) that’s how close it was. I got my fair share of giving up my position to David Turner in heat 1 when i was trying to take wider turn in radius to close in the gap into Natasha Seatter.
The Final Race was awesome started 6th on grid. you can see everyone giving out all their best. race was so close ! and there was some small incidents taking few karters out and also sending David Turner into a spin. And i managed to slip into 4th behind Ratnaraj and overtook him just 2 corners later and secured 3rd with Hasif and Terence flying off away with this leopard engine. Terence was blistering quick. It was awfully bad luck for Terence to retire from a dominant lead 2 laps later.
And it was only Hasif Up front , and i was pulling away to a comfortable gap away from 3rd trying to chase Hasif for the remaining 20 laps or so but he was quick.
It was an awesome race and i have learned alot from this experience.And racing with the buayas of K1 for the 2008 season did really helped alot in KKS in terms of race crafts, THANKS MY-KART !!! and i think anyone in the K1 drivers series are more than ready to race in KKS !
Also, thanks John King and his dedicated Technical Team for setting up the kart just right for me and a reliable engine !!!
Note : my muscle ache like hell racing in ELITE !!!! no joke !! it was so physically demanding !!!! 🙁

Correct me if iam wrong, Mohd Fahmy its the fat boy that used to train together with us last time ???
in elite track ???As suggested by Fazz, i think anytime after puasa is fine with me.. i got no problem with any dates after puasa.
