not really can be used vice versa… however for car usually da equipment has nomex for fire resistance.. nomex in karting is not needed… however karting equipment is based more on durability… the real difference is just on gloves..for karting it is padded on the palm side which is for increasing durability and dampening of vibrations

    jules i think u kinda misunderstood my post.. as i said i agree with all points posted here. i dont even mind paying more but i just think the CURRENT pricing structure provided by ck is a lil funny! i never pointed it as a value for fun.. any kart u give me i would still have fun in it 😛 i was looking at value from the karts itself! i would have thought maintenance and cost of the karts on 125cc is higher.. therefore just wonderng how they can cost so similar to 125s and how can the normal 100cc can be priced so high.. i provided those points in hopes that it maybe useful for us to push for a better pricing structre thats all :S but after careful consideration.. on the proposed 100cc, i think maintenance on 100cc is more cause its aircooled.. hence the high per cc cost??
interesting read and my opinion.

    Racing in K1 dun necessary mean its more fun….cos you can have fun even in k3.

    K2 is an important step to K1 as it teaches you throttle finesse and driving lines – scrap it and you will see many more expensive crashes in K1.

    The main attraction for K1 is kart consistency…..not necessary cos its faster than K2.

    If the consistency is extended to K2, that would be excellent.

    Of course, to make it better – weights should be added as ballast.

    In regards to payment – I chuckle at faibs way of measuring cc/dollar but in end – its hard to pinpoint a value for FUN. Radio control car smaller engined but also fun mah…

    Simply said – if K2 is exclusive and have weights, I will also join a few selected rounds…..just to share the fun.
I for one definitely think k2 is vital as a stepping stone.. and willing to pay a lil more… but proposed fee RM200??? the math just isnt feasible tho, to me it doesnt even add up..even the current prices makes me wonder…even tho its vital to have K2.. whats the point for having K2 if its more expensive than K1? just isnt logical.. currently K2 drivers are already paying the most per cc .. should nego with ck about their pricing structure….

    Facts & Figures

    K1 = RM190. Cost per cc = RM1.52
    Current K2 = RM170 , difference to K1 in cc is 25cc. Cost per cc = RM1.70
    K3 = RM90, difference in cc is 20cc when compared to K2. Cost per cc = RM1.125
    Proposed K2 = RM200, cost per cc is a staggering RM2 :S

    We are already currently paying ck too much.. RM170 is already a super steep price for a machine that needs more medical attention than my grandma 😛

    The pricing for K2 should be in BETWEEN K1 and K3 whether its exclusive or not. If not, you might as well expand K1 and scrap K2 which ONLY costs RM20 extra per person which is still technically cheaper than 100cc… A more logical approach is to revise the price. A revised price of around RM1.20 – 1.30 per cc for the current K2 karts or RM1.4 – 1.45 per cc for exclusive would make more sense, it should never be more expensive or equal in costs to 125cc.. sorry just my opinion.. hope u guys can use these points to push for a better pricing structure for us! CheerS!

    power will increase but dont think it will increase 50hp or so hahah u dont own a turbo u have a na.. 😉 for na cars.. AFR is more important so is ignition timing.. alot of bmws running it and have very positive feedback.. just check out bmwclubmalaysia 😉 and it also helps with throttle response 😉 also if u modified ur car it will make ur components and engine work hand in hand and gains will be better! very very cheap already.. was selling for RM900 for my-kart members only RM750… other ppl RM800.. brand new will set u back RM2400 ;)so it is a cheap buy XD and very very limited stock =)

Unichip… good stuff hehe unfortunately I do not have a BMW kekekeke, Jules grab it 😉
Ya lar it’s universal….

    anyhow I am not the only with a BMW and mine is a Banyak Makan Wang version……lol ( its not true just to be truthful )

    Anyhow – I cannot handle the power as it is already…..

    Free Bump for ur unichip Faibs. ( potential buyer! we have in house consultant mah for this who will help u with the install )
