Yeah It was fun racing with a lot karters in the grid. One of the reasons why because all karters managed to fight for places, you can still have fun even if you are in a bad kart etc maybe not a win but who cares 🙂 . In my opinion, the race should be held occasionally this year and throughout the year we can select the drivers from K3 who is good enough and well aware of the safety procedures. Let’s say 20-25 K1 or K2 current drivers and the rest would be the K3 drivers. As for more efficiency and time saving. How about make a ballot like just now minus the qualifying session? Its easier and more unpredictable at the grid(like F1 qualifying session in the wet). As for the 1st corner rush, I can’t say much…every man for themselves 😕

Since the charity tournament is still far away(March or Feb maybe), why don’t we all have an own get together match? We can use that as a training too 😉 but I need sufficient players preferably from my-kart. Also I need some venue suggestions and time. On the top of my head now is Subang Sports Planet, Sunway Sports Planet, Sports Barn PJ, Sports Plaza PJ, Sports Center PJ and One Utama. I won’t mind the time but I think evening around 9 on Friday or Saturday would be great.
Haha..btw since this will be my 1st time racing against u guys, do I just have to pay Rm90 for the whole race or I need 2 pay some extra charges? Sorry I am just abit curious ;(
RM90 is enough. Maybe you need a little bit more for your drinks or maybe you want to go for another spin should you can’t get enough of racing 😉
Hmm..Hanifcd, r u going for that race on 29 Nov? Maybe we can race each other over at City karting there? 😉
I might, but then again even if I’m not there theres plenty more karters there for sure. Even so, I’m always at a karting circuit 🙂

I would really love to see a karting track near The Curve, IKEA and Ikano area. There are a couple of open lands well suited for a karting track but then again the land would be expensive. Imagine how much the crowd would be and how many potential new ‘addicts’ will come 😉 . I think its a great place to put a track.
Interestingly, when I bought a condo unit near the Curve from Sunway Bhd, the sales mgr mentioned to me that the big piece of land next to Dataran Sunway in Kota Damansara (not too far from Original Kayu where we had the 2008 AGM) was going to be the new location of Sunway Extreme Park, which includes a kart track among other things, and also a petting zoo.

Not sure what happened to the idea, if it is still planning stage, or shelved altogether.

This would be a great location…next to a huge commercial area (one of the largest in the country encompassing Dataran Sunway, The Strand, Giant Hypermarket) and within the Kota Damansara/Tropicana area where many karters including yours truly live..so large buying area to tap…plus it’s very close to Sri KDU and SEGI college….

Anyway, let me check with someone in Sunway on this….
Yes do check again, maybe we could build another track for two-wheelers so they won’t race illegaly 😛

Yeah its a good thing to do but after you donated your blood, you would be a little bit dizzy or your concentration would be less sharp than usual. Even if we want to make it after the event we would be tired, sweaty and a hint of petrol smelling at our bodies. Do you think CK would provide a suitable place for us to donate blood? I won’t mind though donating my blood there though 😀 theres always someone who needs it y’know.
