Sigh, I feel so sad to hear of such an accident. Karting is supposed to be fun. Can’t imagine how a harmless outing can be come a tragedy.
I have had a few close calls when racing at that track in the past. Even a few of my Shell colleagues have also experienced it too.
I have never liked this track. It’s just too dangerous especially if you are racing a high powered kart. I heard that in the past, their tyre barriers were filled with sand which offered no protection to the karter but instead do more harm.

Did u know that the Pan Global Karts are also being used by Shell IT International for their regular karting sessions? And yes, they are the same ones from Sunway.
So u want some tips on which karts to choose? Hahahaha. If not mistaken, kart no.4 was the most powerful wan. Not sure if they have switched the numbers or not?
It’s a con! Damn publicity stunt for Pan Global lah. They could have given Roduawan the chance to try for A1.. why must hold another competition for the 3rd year now?
Sorry guys..hehehe me just being sour grapes lah bcs the rules and regulation stats that for past participants ( I came in 3rd ), they can only enter provided they have Pan Global insurance policy.
Hmm… can the karts use Bio-fuel or not? I heard the government are conducting a trial/pilot on their government cars using this Bio-fuel.
Yup, it’s kinda expensive.
