ParticipantAwwww…man! AAM sanctioned events? Well if it means those special white “Handbags” are gonna be filled with more beauties, whats a few extra ringgit spent every month. hope this means an organised video coverage, cos the presence of only one handycam means less action caught. I tried my best and got good action shots, but hear me everybody who happened to handycam the races, i need footage of the post race celebrations and more of the angels in the “handbags”. email me the vids at riderjet2002@yahoo.com.
p.s. promo video is coming in a fortnight, event video for Dec 2 out as soon as i can lay my hands on the extra footage.

ParticipantHi dude,
I’m probably the last person who you should ask advice from(ask abang Fazz about that), but I have learnt a few things in this club. In Shah Alam, DO NOT try to monster the kart around over the kerbs. It’s stressful to the machinery and you’d probably lose more time trying to regain control of your kart than save it. Nazri’s style, that Alain-Prost-super-neat-but-quick, style should be your template. Gently is always best with a creature that has a mind of it’s own.Cheerio mate.

Participantain’t me dude, just Mark Webber. You raced any good women?

Participantooohhh… Censored ah? If like dat sorilah beb. Anyways, what other ideas can the fine people of my-kart put forward?

ParticipantWat? the festival is scary? I think it’s kinda cool, and mikko does have the relevant license, right?
Iskandar Zulkarnain
ParticipantY not join Formula ford’s festival? it’s a good way to reeeeaaaallly find out how big yur cojones are…

ParticipantIt is possible for a series to be completely sponsor-funded, provided that the sponsors are not half-baked about their intentions. the existing racing teams , i think would not object to entering as long as the running costs are reasonable, but as to honing technical skills…I think Formula ford is a bit too simple for any real honing, and in any case, in all the major racing series this equation comes to mind:
More tech=more moolah
the “oldies but goodies” question? look at my-kart’s races and decide for yourself (jangan marahlah, i’m not saying you guys are old, just experienced). point is that, real racers, given an opportunity to race, will grab it by the balls and will never let go without tearing some tissue first.
Spectators? we gotta get a major tv deal and promote the heck out of it, maybe offer free bus ride for every ticket sold. and it never hurts to take a leaf out of champ car’s book and have a ‘long beach’ of our own, just so that the people don’t have to pay anything to watch a race at close quarters. good for PR.
Given that the sponsors will get airtime, i think they’ll jump on the bandwagon, especially when their adverts play when the live race is on commercial break.
I think some money will be required…maybe the drivers can be paid based on how many points they earn?? we can have a points system similar to my-kart’s, that way, even the worst(or the most unlucky) drivers have a chance at making…20 ringgit ke, per point. that way, the sponsors and/or the organisers can have a fixed “employee budget”.Man, i forgot how much fun it is to forum here.

ParticipantHear-hear and hi guys. a shot means definite shot or a maybe shot? cos if u get to race in hayabusa, then berbaloi lar…provided you win. In any case, i don’t think i’ve been to enough my-kart meetings to count as a serious contender. Expect me to race in the closing months lar…my baby (black juara) kena accident, kena bayar lalu hidung siut! dahlah part mahal gila…

ParticipantI just had a flash of inspiration! Does Rosedi sell chassis only? if so, then would it not be even more affordable to race in the SL cup? Of course my papa still says “try to break your neck on horses, at least you’re better with them.” Hmmmph! And to think that he likes racing(watching high level ones only lah, nak join jangan harap).
Iskandar Zulkarnain
ParticipantUncle naza…Why not? *double wink-wink, nudge-nudge*
