The compound is more for road car tyres. Need something heavy to get the grip. Urm, I’ve had over 30-40 laps on it already and still the kart slides. The tires at the end of the last time I ran on it was starting to be sticky (i think it’s the heat the tyre generated) so I can’t say anything. U know the second long straight at City Karting, a slight turn to the right, the Kart instead of turning in will drift sideways from the left to the right. The tyre in my opinion will last long, but not enough grip for something as light as a go kart. Just wrong tyres. Just plain wrong.

Was there last weekend with Iguana and bro and some other my-karters. Kinda F***ed up day for me though. Was in the first heat with Razak Halim. Was chasing his back all the time during qualifying but there was just too much traffic in front of us. I was the 10th kart out and had to chase 8 karts in front. Sh** 8 laps with some joker in front of me. Razak had a better time, i think 1 sec faster than my fastest. I couldn’t clock the best with all the traffic.
Best of all, during the overtaking of all these slow coaches, at the end of the race, I was given sounding by the organizer for overtaking at the wrong racing line. I was like (WTF?) apparently, sticking on the far side of the track during a turn in is a wrong move??? Funny joker, but I accidentally knocked out a fellow driver on the first fast corner, and i apologised. Was feeling guilty after that cuz I was just too gan cheong wanting to overtake him I carried too much speed in the corner and went sideways into him. (he was out of the racing line cuz he went too in before turning in) But we reconciled and understood it was a race accident.
Didn’t had a good day, but what the hey. Was frustrated but didn’t go home to a tody. I shall be faster the next time. Going to find the other second lesser route.

Must be a reason they are running. Maybe Uncle Richard is up to something…Chill Chill dudes, I heard there’s a new track somewhere in Shah Alam. To be confirmed though. I’m looking for it. Suppose to be run by Mr Richard Lim. Anyone knows him? Half of City Karting Elite Mechanic Crew was taken up by him.
Stupid to say the Sunway ppl letting Jokers play drift drift in a go kart track. Engineering wise it’s totally impropable as the crusher runs and tarmac insufficient to take such loads. Soon I think we’d be seeing pot holes in the middle of the race track.why not have it on a saturday instead of a sunday? a non working saturday is best. I usually have commitments on sundays.

Regarding the pad price, don’t really know though. U can have a look if u want.For sale one unit Brembo caliper with screw holes 3 inch apart. Also together, single disc drilled through ventilated brake disc. Best offer. Above RM50 please. RM51 also accept.
95kg weight I suggest u tap on the brakes. The Inertial Momentum of moving forward will keep u forward, you’ll lose speed but not as much as those lighter than u with the same technique. Also, you’ll tend to slide more in the corner as the centripetal force comes in. Extra 200-300 Newton at least. 😛
