somehow my earlier posting went missing….
was rambling that Alex has matured considerably as a driver with A1 and he deserves the award.
Btw, for those did not know – Alex did try karting at a young age and crashed very heavily in the Pandamaran track and missed a tree by a whisker…..if he did, Alex wun be known to us. His mom banned him from karting thereafter…….and who knows, he could be an even better driver if he stayed on in karting longer!
nice but RM2200 for a raincoat/jacket? I guess if u drive a IMPREZA can afford one.

I have 2 genuine BMW jackets given to me as gifts – one M Technic and the other BMW F1 team jacket…..woh never know they can fetch such prices!
good idea but u must at least confirm K1 before event since some drivers will need to hire and karts need time to prepare.

I was ONE during my teen years…..superman riding style was our norm. Foolish & foolhardy = YES!
But anyhow I honestly dunno why this is now an issue for the govt since illegal racing/betting/woman prize money/drug taking before “races” was even there during my days….the more you give this kids the media attention – the rowdier they will get.
Anyhow, if they improve the school extra curriculum activities to keep the idle minds busy, I think the long term result would be far better…than what they are doing here.

Back to TURN 10. Mikko’s given some good pointers and for me, keeping away from kerb on the apex completely is the plan. The key is to know when to brake and turn in, so you will miss all th kerbs, hug the line and drift perfectly to the outside kerb on your left….
there used to be a bad rut between the 2 kerbs ( the apex ones ) and on soft compound they cause the kart to dig and ur ribs takes a pounding……with the resurface its better but still there but again, you feel it on soft compound tyres.

no. they two guys took me out on the long curve before the first hairpin. i was struggling with grip so lifted long enough on entry for them to pounce on me round the outside. buggers! 🙂

no. they two guys took me out on the long curve before the first hairpin. i was struggling with grip so lifted long enough on entry for them to pounce on me round the outside. buggers! 🙂
