ahhhh good news indeed 😀 :D
Not good news if they say…”You must only use this CIPALAK tyre and only I can sell it to you for RM2000 a piece..”

Such uncertainties, even 1.5 months before the race SCREWS up drivers, sponsors cos no one know what’s the cost to race, cost to sponsor and if at all can sponsor! ( say other tyre brands sponsors….)

COME ON – MALAYSIA CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS!
Hai ya….small matter maa…U ni macam budak-budak kecik la…everybody knows abt it, and forgot abt it…the person who drove it already know the mistake. So, why must U brought up this matters??
    Mau bodek ka???
bodek who? I need to bodek anyone here?

If u know it, why not raise it? Did you hear me say what after that incident loudly? Do you want a death on the track to wake u up? then u wun ever forget. They almost ran out of ambulanceS in Elite on sunday – yes in a kart race.

Its is such childish-tidak apa attitude which get the good things undone in one swift move.

In the past, Mykart did post mortem on track incidents – was that not necessary or bodeking by those who did it?
Ok noted with thanks. Izzt a general karting rule never to purposely go beyond the white line? Note i Say purpose bcoz b4 the corner its a straight and driver go out of the white line to “sapu” corner!!!!

    TQVM!!!!
just tell us which corner so we put a huge cone there….

ballast, you can buy at dive shops….or if you know foundry, cheaper still.

4 wheel off track not allowed….2 wheels, reasonable but safety is never to be compromised.

Btw, drive outside the track too often, you risk punctures and if only u doing it…..its normally dirty and dun help ur lap times cos its dirty….

At end, how much u can save in time by doing that? u driving consistently 0.2 seconds within ur laps? if not, this wun help….

Congrats to all who joined race this round. Am sure u will agree its a higher level of racing cos in end, it all your skill and your kart that matters. Hope to see more my-karters join the races.

Mark and Jason Loo – you both are next to take this leap of faith!

Btw, after this race, I will relingusih my SIFU “gelaran” to the worthy champion MUMU. Anyone caught calling me SIFU will now contribute a fine, to my P9 fund! LOL

Btw, I had to drive the wheels of my kart to keep up with all you guys…but had fun in process. Kena bumped off by Wai Leong TWICE…..same corner some more! SIgh

Anyway hope to see u all again next month.

    Cheers,
Jules – somewhere in remote Central Java….

Then a few laps later, the leader ( Terence ) also packed up with a loose earth ignition wire…his mechanic should be shot!
Hey – I’m one of his mechanics (well, at least responsible for them). It was just plain bad luck – typical for Terence – we’ve never seen this problem before on the Leopard or Rotax – it’s a permanent connection so not screwed or anything and just worked it’s way off. For anyone alse, it would have happened in practice, heat or pre-final but for Terence, it had to wait until the final when he was in a dominant position :-(
John,

sorry I was just saying it out of jest…..without any harm intended but to highlight that even the best drivers and team, need a bit of lady luck in racing!!

Btw, when he coasted to a stop, I was nearby and wanted to shout for him to check the electrics…..but heard him cranking the engine and nothing happened. I once lost a MyKart race like this…..yes, the Lepoard ignition earth wire fell out when I was leading…just like Terence’s – & Ah Boon my mechanic had an short earful from me but then again, it was all my rotten luck too!

The spade connection should be cable tied down somewhat! I am amazed at Terence pace n more so, the little effort he needed to drive your PDB. Must be the good set-up!

On promoting the KKS races to our Mykarters – I reckon it’s do-able but an OPEN 125 class would be too daunting & pricey for some ( with little chance of success with the open format )

This is the exact reason I asked PD to run a senior max class ( unmodded ) with the 125 Open at the same time but separate championship…well, no need to ask if he even heard me….

KKS needs membership plus AAM race license – all which cost additional $$ too and for an amateur who wants to do 1 or 2 races for fun, it all adds up.

The Yamaha is gathering interest and MAM is helping…..but its edge is only just as the tyres ain’t cheap and engines, not that common yet.

You are in excellent position to help promote the sports to the masses and people will listen to you.

Will do what I can, to help as always!
