In regards to citizenship, I am NOT SURE.

I would suggest you put in your name as an expression of interest and let them sort it out. Nicolas is a VENEZUALAN as far I am told….

    Anyone else then?

    Fazz,

Can you please be so kind to fill in Nicolas’s details. Kindly ensure he does not have a AAM license to ensure he meets the amateur ranking, needed by MAM.

I have yet to submit this list to Wai Leong who is at present in Japan.

    Thanks.

Actually I don’t think they give a damn unless you carry maybe 10 boxes or more of unwrap helmets in your boot.

I used to have 2 or 3 helmets in my Pajero passing thru either Causeway or 2nd link, no problem.

Put it this way, are they going to tax the brand new helmet that you are wearing if you are riding your bike thru the customs?
Ok, I see u just volunteered to be a cross border runner….with ur pajero.

Abt riding a bike thru – well, first if you plan to sell it, then no buyer wants a used helmet ( even once ) and it’s rather strange to have someone wearing a WHITE car racing helmet when u r riding a bike. That’s a sure give away cos bike helmets…..are full of graphics.
Car racing use need NOMEX lined helmets – easily verified when the helmet stap is pale yellow in colour.

Not aware there is any local brand for this.

A good & popular helmet for car racing use ( ie. nomex lined ) is the HJC from Korea…..

OMP, Sparco, Bell, Simspon, Arai are other possibilities.
I should clarify that HJC are popular in USA. I also meant to say the word STRAP for the pale yellow thingy….

Btw, Arai are popular in Malaysia as we are so consious of branding and want to be F1 drivers! Dunno if anyone have a Schubert F1 model yet but that will not be cheap.

On OMP – Rosedi wun keep stock and will order for u, so time is needed. Those wishing to do MME must order now to avoid the risk of not in compliance. OMP helmets are good, lite and reasonably priced plus I use one along with a few BUAYAS in My-Kart….

Buy Buy Buy……with that free coaching – you will improve by leaps and bounds. In addition, Mikko will always give u some personal advice on setting up since he has factory contact!

I drove the older Intrepid ( Silverstone? ) and it has no vices except a brake which takes some effort to use. Heard this is now improved upon!

seriously, if u know what is the new price of a Tonykart……this is considered cheap!

Thanks for some responses and suggestion.

Armien Nicolas is already listed, dunno who is Stuart Gibbs. I dun want to be embarassed by putting names which later no one wants to own up! ( Nicolas in under Fazz’s entry…) So who can vouch for Stuart’s entry and particulars?

Let me share with you a real story – and I think his father wun mind me telling you.

I know a driver name Dominic Ang – who some of you know. His dad told me once, the main reason he exposed his son to karting and competition is to develop his social skills as he was a rather shy and reserved boy, when young. Now, I think you should know who Dominic is and what he has done. I would simply say he is a much more asserted and confident individual – thanks to his dad’s far sightedness.

So for Patrick’s Edwin ( you had me for a moment…mixing up with that fully grown Buaya Edwin… ) – here’s a real case you can use for your HM briefing. The world is full of NGAPPERS – in school, work, business so he better start young on the track!
