Participanttotal team weight will weigh before the race, ballast will mount on before qualifying.
1. weight add-on of 6kg if fall below par according as mentioned by Naza(before race)
2. penalty time will impose on final race result. (after race). Example, If 2 teams finish at same number of laps time penalty will impose deciding of results.luen
Participantthanks Naza. I agree. Guys, I we have no comment on this format then we are going to announce this format to the public later this evening. 😉

Participantis all about fair play.
The constant number define the average weight. Perhaps lower to 68?
I see no competition for a team that has total of has 50kg heavier than other
example team 1 55kgx4= 220kg
team 2 68kgx4= 272kgA more direct format proposed, discarding constant number; total weight divide by 4;
below par 272kg(if taking 68kg constant) to 263kg will be added 6kg max for shortage to par.
Team Further lower , 262 to 253kg(of every 10kg lower), will be added 6kg max + 5 sec penalty
any below than that 6kg added + 5 secs of every 10kg lowersumarise:
above 272kg.
271~262 + 6kg
261~252 + 6kg + 5 sec
251~242 + 6kg + 10 sec
241~232 + 6kg + 15 sec
231~222 + 6kg + 20 sec
221~212 + 6kg + 25 sec25 seconds is not much perhaps is just one corner away from turn 3 to turn 4. It is not taken much
advantage for the heavier team. If comparing team with 212 and 272 of total weight.please feedback

Participantzul,
below 58 average par will impose 6kg ballast + 1 grid qualified position, sorry i have missed that out.
However, yeah I agree with you, below 70 average par should;
– maximum 6kg ballast (for below 70) + 5 sec penalty further below than 60kg?
it means for
59 average = + 6kg + 5 sec
49 average = +6kg + 10 sec
39kg average = hahah k4 group alreadysounds ok?

ParticipantAzlan, Naza as per discussion last week. Here is somewhat have agreed upon the new rule, please comment:
Team Weight
-4 drivers weight + constant 70 / 5 = should be no less than average 70
-all women team should be no less than average 60
-Weight ballast in kg will be added to kart according to the shortage of average.
-Team below average of 58 will further decent 1 qualify grid position.
-Maximum ballast added to a kart wil be no more than 6kg.

Participantthe 70kg constant suppose to be for weight of the kart. haha yeah yeah keep the 70kg average for festival cakes. Agreed.

ParticipantNaza, I talked to CK today about the weight ballast thingy.
They do not have that much if we go option 2. The most they can provide is around 20 plug kg. Wanxin will get back to us about the putting ballast on the rental kart.
With option 1, the most add is about 3 to 4 kg the most if minimum requirement 70 after plus constant 70. If we lower the minimum requirement 70 to 68, then i think lots of team does not need to add weight…..
68 then?

ParticipantPatrick, just spoken to CK that 10 NOV 07 after 12 is available for first chicken wings classes. We may also utilise the briefing upstairs for theory class.
Are you going to organise for the first round? 🙂

Participantguys, I have received quite a number of comments about the weighing system for endurance race.
Feedbacks;
– 5kg penalty of 1 grid position,if start on the same lap, even the first driver can overtake.
– lighter teams hold back during qualifying.
– if one driver of 90kg the rest of team members are 63.3kg, basically there are not overweigh by right.
– no fair to evenly weight team and etc etc.so here are the suggestions;
option 1
========
all 4 drivers + constant of 70 must equal to 350
= (total weight of driver) + 70(constant)/5 => 70number that less than 70 will add weight ballast.
Example1;
(d1)55 + (d2)67 + (d3)70 + (d4)70 + constant70 = 66.4 therefore 4kg is needed to add on kart.example 2;
(d1)55 + (d2)55 + (d3)55 + (d4)100 + 70 /5 = 67, add 3kg ballastexample3;
d1(70) + d2(72) + d3(68) + d3 (56) + 70 / 5 = 67.2, 3 kg neededexample4;
55+55+55+70+70/5 = 61, 9 kg needed.Option2
=======
Take lightest driver compare with constant. This weighing format adopted by MME race of AAM.constant – lightest driver = weight impose
example:
constant 70 – lightest driver of 60kg = 10kg impose onto kart.Team with all female drivers shall have the privilege constant 60. Mix drivers shall retain the same constant of 70.
please feedback guys
