longer hours;

1. increase hours on the event day
2. split into 2 days

no longer hours;

1. limit number of participants
2. combine k2 and k1 , increase the number of laps for k2 and or otherwise

Probably we might have to run a whole day event instead

I don’t think CK will too happy with this idea as it would mean that they would lose some revenue on the private 125cc karters + their normal rental karts.

They might charge us extra $$$$$
the increased numbers are directly CK’s customers. MY-kart is not generating any revenue from there. Other way looking at the situation, we are managing these customers for them for FOC.

2 options we can choose, increase hours or we set a limit to participants;

1. increase hours, my-kart managing CK customers FOC. 100% of their customers are secured and managed.

2. set limit of participants. Downside for example; we can set limit to 30 participants due to time frame up to 2pm, will the remainder of 20 particpants come back to CK and run for their own after the series on the same day? Yes possible, but my reckond that only 10 % of them will wait till my-kart series over and practice after 2pm.
CK will not garautee themselves the remainding hours after 2pm will get 20 cusotmers that run at least 3 rounds (that is 60 sessions)

In addition, My-kart extra hours is not increasing on the number of laps per session, it is because increasing the number of participant; on the other hand, CK releasing exta hours is not because My-kart demanding for more laps per session is because we need more time to manage their customers for them. I see no reason why CK need to hike the price for extra time.

From the business perceptive, it will be feasible that CK allow us to go extra hours.
looks alright to me – except that i do not understand the RM180 fee for extension beyond 2pm… how does that work?
it simply means RM100 for K1 series, if wish to practise after the series, it has to charge additional RM180 (100+180)
Folks /Luen,

The K1 items below requires the Committee’s acceptance:

1. Race Format
– Starting Grid : base on current k2 / k3 seedings. New drivers will be placed at the back.

– (Manual lap chart to be use cos transponders are not use for this race)
– Formation and warm up : 3 laps max.

– Heat 1 : 10 laps
– Heat 2 : 10 laps
– Final : 12 laps

2. Race Weight
– Senior 125 – minimum 160 kg at the end of race.
– Junior 125 – minimum 145 kg at the end of race.

3. Race Control Tyre
– APEXI 65 (currently retailed by CK)

4. Race Fee
Rm 100 – Fuel + track fee + pit crew support (Option to extend after 2 pm – RM 180.00)
Note that drivers whose kart is brought in from outside must provide their own mechanic

Question 1 : what about discounts for club members…?

Folks, please amend or add further notes where necessary
I propose ran heat 1 at 12 laps, reason that it will cold start, hard compound may need a little more time to set-in and so are the drivers.

for your Question 1 is my suggestion as my reply to Nohad, how about that? charging RM120

RM100 is CK to My-KART for the K1 series, since MY-KART is the event organiser, we do have the right to name the price to non-members. Agree?

new briefing on this should be included before the race. K2 Drivers somewhat experience would know what to do when sees chequer and yellow flags.

Not so worry about the slowing down K2 karts as on the normal training day on 125cc, we seeing more spun outs in the middle of the track and slow 80cc running together hahaha

i think something we can do at the flagging system;

Propose : say 8 laps after k2 , control flags chequeur flag together with yellow flag; while k1 will have 4 laps remainding on the track till 12 ends with a chequer flag.

P/s please do not put K1 at halt again 🙁
