The results are pretty startling – 3.3 sec per 10 kg! Those in K3 better take note and start trimming………….

Fazz, which dealership do you want? Getting a BMW dealership will be very hard, and probably BMW Malaysia will want to see at least RM10 million investment for them to consider you.

Maybe a Yugo or Lada franchise will be cheaper :p

What’s ur budget? I heard there is a near new Swiss Hutless with Rotax Max Senior engine coming up for sale. Owner yet to confirm the sale but price should be in the RM13k-RM16k region if what he claims is true i.e. near new.

FYI, a 2003 Swiss Hutless was sold for RM15k about 2 months ago.

How about a tie up between MyKart and some of the local motorsports team? G1 Symphony, Meritus, Amprex, SR Motorsport to name a few. Test drive, pit pass, volunteers, or just a seminar with the drivers / crew.

Just wondering, if Webber had been with MyKart, he would known Fisichella would slide wide and took him on the inside and got himself to the podium! So MyKart race on rental tyres are definitely a good training ground for F1 with its current tyre rules…….. 😀

Doesn’t the RM1 has a shift light? Would installing a shift light a cheaper & simpler alternative to a rev limiter? But that also assume the driver will shift after seeing the shift light?

Jules, isn’t racing sequential gear pull backwards for upshift and forward for downshift? (it is on the BMW SMG 2)

If the kart is to be made for rental, then it should be made more robust so that 1st timer like me won’t blow the gearbox/engine. It’s cheaper to install a rev limiter and rebuilding a kart every other week.

The event saw a strong crowd turnout, estimated at over 2,000. Car park spaces were nowhere to be found and some idiots resorted to blocking the entrance to City Karting.

Tengku Djan emerged as the champion drifter for the day but it was drifting itself that was the winner. The NTV7 news crew came and the camera man got the ride of his lift in Tengku Djan’s AE86.

Video clips can be downloaded from the link below. The edited videos by MK84 are good.

Look out for Djan (A8), the dude in the old Merc 200E (A11), Ah Fai (A5), the Toyota TE 71 (A10) and the red Nissan Laurel (B3).
