I would opt for endurance racing to promote camaraderie and team spirit, and this format also allows for more participants.

Each club can enter maximum of 2 teams and if there are more than 12 teams, we can do 2 endurance heats (say, 1 hour) in the morning followed by the final in the afternoon (2 hours) or we can do a mega 4 hour endurance with 6 members per team!

I believe BMW Club, Alfa Club, Shell & HP are certain entrants. Siemens, Panasonic, Petronas, Ferrari fan club and drift club are strong possibilities 🙂

Yes, Gong xi Fa Cai to all MyKarters and happy holidays too – 3 days of public holidays!

By the way, City Karting is open (except for 1st day of CNY)! Winter testing, anyone?

My all time favourite is the Lancia Delta Integrale! But my favourite amongst the current cars is the Citroen Xsara WRC. Fazz, I have an article on the development of the Xsara WRC, will fish it out and pass to you this Saturday.

Loeb is a good driver. I think he will adapt well to track racing as he is very good on tarmac. Very precise and no unnecessary sideways action. Did you guys catch the WRC 2005 Monte Carlo highlights? See how he negotiate those tight hairpins? Just a flick to point the car straight and so precise. Superb!
Fazz, I passed by Mofaz Elite daily to and fro work and is really sad and pathetic. 100 cc karts are gone and so are most of the mechanics that we knew. I still see a few fun karts but certainly no longer any corporate events being held for the last 4 months at least. The scene is definitely the opposite of the Shah Alam circuit. Its sad for me and Tarmizi because that was where we started our early karting days being closest to our residence. My-Kart club should buy the track lah! Well someday perhaps…..sayang..
Last year the track was already up for sale / takeover. City Karting was offered too. Since Fairuz left karting to do F3/F3000, seems that Mofaz not keen on karting anymore.

Please let us know your secret on ways to loose weight, I have been trying hard to shed that extra few kilo but no avail!
bmFive, losing is no secret – CARDIO!!!!!

During the weigh in at the MyME I was totally demoralised to find myself at a very heavy 70kg. Since then I have lost 4kg by running twice a week for 30 mins each time. Every Sunday I wake up at 6:15 for a nice 30 min run, followed by 45 mins washing my car. I then try to squeeze in another running session in the middle of the week.

Of course, have to cut down on food (just take 3 normal meals a day), alcohol and late nights too!

Anyone wishing to try the new OR fillet burger, please bring a digital camera along! I was thinking of taking a picture of the real burger, but I will look totally stupid by getting conned a SECOND time!

Take a picture and take Kentucky Frigging Con to the consumer tribunal!

Yes, Burger King is the best. Even back in UK I prefer Burger King – they used to have promotions – cheeseburger for 99p!

Yes, this is not KFC’s first con job. Their twister (popcorn chicken in naan/pita bread) is a real farce.

10kg = 1 sec is tested lah by Wai Leong (or was it Razman at Kartquest?). They put a 10kg ballast on the fun kart (same driver) and take the lap times.

Agree race craft is also important, but the raw speed must be there so that on a clear track, you can pull away from the competitors.

Best way to go fast in rental karts – lose weight, clean lines. 10kg = 1 sec! Kart no. 6 was terrible, even Fabian at 58kg only managed 1:16, and he has done 1:13 before in other karts.

Razmyn, Soul’ed out is the other side of Desa Sri Hartamas from Uncle Don’s. Coming from the highway, do not take the 1st right turn to the Uncle Don area, keep going straight, past the Kiwi Express Cafe and then turn right. You will see Safiz mamak store. Soul’ed Out is behind Safiz.
