Participantoittt!! you guys talking bout me arrr??
unfortunately i cant see no pics since flickr.com is blocked in the UAE by the authorities…dunno why but really an inconvenience to me sometimes…
Fazz is right…i was a bit out of the world last sat…not only did i not have my usual currypuffs but also the fact that my timezone was about 4 hrs behind you guys…(hehehe…excuses..excuses..)razmyn
Participant
you owe it to mykart for topping all qulifiers and the Final. Winning against owners of Corvettes, Porsches, etc is always a nice feeling ain’t it? Next time drive a kancil to the track (if you can find one) and show them what Malaysians are made of.
yupp..thanks to my-kart…otherwise i wouldn’t be able to top the regulars here…but of course…i was also the lightest among all…hahahahaharazmyn
Participanthuh:O even I don’t know for sure Etihad is going to KUL next year…rumors aplenty but no commitments yet from the “Boss”…where did you hear this one larrr…hehehe..
but sure is good for me…can go back for the races…& the mee udang i’ve been craving for..
actually fazz..the track charges 290AED for the whole session…i was a bit disappointed initially but after many months of no karting…i guess its better than nothing…& winning somemore..(hehehe something you guys never give me despite all the powderful karipuff!! )razmyn
Participant
thats demoralising. u wont see me bothering to wave 1 anymore.the funkarting place i regularly go in melbourne is really state of the art. there is a tv screen that shows each karts lap time, position and karters name. the track is heavily fitted with warning lights. u must slow down during yellow light as the marshalls will really tell u off if u dont. he will just ask u to stop at the pitlane, lecture u.
its outdoor btw.
siew weng…hehehe…welcome back to malaysia…i think its quite unfair to compare one establishment from outside of malaysia with the ones in malaysia…if you do…believe me…you’ll be very dissappointed bro…
believe me…i gave up on my previous employer & migrated to the desert…now…i hope i’ll be a bit happier…& so far so good…only…still to find a karting kaki 😀razmyn
Participantbut whatever happened to steward’s big straw hat?? 😉
stolen arr??

Participantsiew weng…the yellow flags..when in a real sanctioned event is indeed serving as a safety warning to other drivers to inform them of any mishaps in front of them..but here in my-kart..like fazz said…due to manpower/resource restrain is merely a tool to try to warn drivers of an incident somewhere on the track..not neccesarily at the location of the incident…well i cant be helping much especially if there’s only 2 yellow flags & the next race is my race…cant I?? but still…i believe we can learn from this…the drivers themselves must first realise of this defiencies & be sporting enuf to not overtake…
about the K3 formation…everytime I was out there assisting the race…i’ll always get the drivers to know their grid posn..really almost shouting at most of the times…before the engines are started…so this kinda bumped me when this issue came out…usually..well almost all the times the karts are started not according to the grid posn due to what jules had said…but the drivers themselves shud know where there are in the grid as I have already told them what their posn is beforehand…so where is the broken link here??? edd & the rest who’s always volunteered would know what i mean here..
nevertheless..given time i’m sure the starting procedure would mature..but we do need more help in organising the races…especially now that many of the last year’s regulars are now in K2razmyn
Participant& thanks for your tips..i rectify the problem with having a cushion behind me back…hehehe

Participantthanks for the info…this is why I never bothered to buy myself a cover for hospitalisation…as the one MAS provided is already very comprehensive…
whatever it is…insurance as a whole…is a SCAM!!! they should ban them!! they sweet talk to you when they want you to sign on the dotted line…& say everything will be ok…all is covered…& the very next day you submit your claim..they can find 1,000,001 excuses not to pay…& then you realised that all is in the fine prints!!! & it’s already too late…choishh!!!razmyn
Participantin that case..ive been to the new sunway track…near the new xtreme park, cafe & futsal pitch…its on the other side of the lake with the entrance to the left of the entrance to the driving range…
but it looked to me like its a temporary setup…using only tyrewalls to outline the track..not a proper track…& small toorazmyn
