a wise old japanese man once told me….
sensei-san : “bosozoku-san….. to make ppl join mykart..first, you must be consistent!”
    me : “consistent sensei-san??”
sensei-san : “consistently talk to them about karting..and persuade them ”
me : “i dont think it would work..”
sensei-san : “it will… bosozoku-san, either they going to join you for karting or.. you gonna have alot of free time being alone and more space during lunch!”

the moral of the story…consistency applies in every aspects of our lives..not only while on track.. but, if u ask the wrong people, you’d get rejected easily 😉 hehehe
hmm..i’m starting to get the feeling that you and your wife have a cupboard full of anime DVDs at home! bozosoku, mononoke, and your kid..doraemon??..:P

overall – sehr gut, site is sponsored by BMW, ja nicht?

    Anyvay, some suggestions for improvement:

    – the posting date/time for each messsage is light blue on light blue background, and placed bottom right. Could you place it on top of each message and make it a different colour?

    – in the “new stuff” page, could you also make the “xx new” a different colour, so we can easily see which messages have new and recent replies.

    a few points to consider:

    i) To ensure that members of Kelab my-Kart do not sue the club – I don’t have the consitution on me right now, but is this already covered in the terms of membership? If not, we may need to address it – this will cover the members

ii) For walk-in participants – yes, a simple indemnity form like the one used for CK. Or, another idea, let’s just copy the CK one word for word, but include CK/Kelab my-KART as the “club” and “track organiser”. With CK permission of course, but this would save our participants from signing two forms!

    What do u think?

Oh and if you’re 32 years old or above and feel you’ve got what it takes… start racing Rotax! There’s a separate “masters” category in which you race in the same heats with the seniors(15+), but you score points in your own championship as well.
…hooray! sounds like a calling!…the “Sifu” series for oldies like us!! ..Rotax..i’m working on it…got the suit anyway! (gaya mesti ada, as Muhaymin would say!),..
f1-k? just like mine … the red one … hehe … 35 pounds is ok la … which color u grabbed, bro?

fyi, f1-k is the 2004 model while tech1-k is the 2006 model … tech1-k offers more padding and tougher palm pad … with an outer seam on the on the fore finger to lessen the pressure point … i’ll show u what i mean the next time we meet on the track ;)
yeah I know, I took the old model with discount..and it was blue colour to match my suit!…the guy showed me the newer model…i think it was Tech 1-KV…but like i said, did not think the extra knuckle padding was necessary!

bro, I went to GPRdirect store today and got an Fi-K glove…however they told me that they are discontinuing all further imports of Alpinestars…hence I got the last pair at a small discount…there was also another slightly more expensive one with knuckle protector but I hardly fall off my kart so didn’t go for that. Got mine for GBP35

…thats correct. Shall we give the discount beginning Rd 3?…need the committee’s concensus.
i thought if the member registers BEFORE 31 March 2007, they will be entitled to RM10 discounts on the round 1 – round 3 fees. azlan perhaps can clarify.
that’s correct. it works as an incentive to register before the March 31st deadline.

i would go for 21 as the internationally agreed age of adulthood. this is also the voting age, right?

anyway, i finished my degree and started working at age 21 yrs 2 mths…but that’s because I’m weird and willing to sacrifice the best years of my life for the company…:(

anyway, i vote for 21…i think those over 21 with family/parents interestd in joining my-kart are probably in the minority (sorry Naza!), and should be managed on an exception basis…most in this age range would probably join on their own…

    my 2 cents..
