First of all, thank you for your reply regarding the website issue.
Lets get back to reality.
DONT GIVE UP. If you give up you’ll feel demoralized and if you really have this interest to it, STICK TO IT. You shouldnt give up before sitting in a kart! Real race drivers would never believe such things. Its all about winnings and stay ahead!
Of course, money is a main issue here. Why dont you look for a part time job then? Im quite understand if your dad trying to stop you from racing as he might think that this hobby is very very expensive, i mean very expensive (but not in my-kart though) for him to sponsor you money.
Also, you have to understand that most malaysians inc. myself have to cutdown all unnecessary expenses because of the business economy slowdown (of course that might include your dad). I always believe that your family doesnt want you to regret later in the future. Study smart and work for yourself first..Once you started working, make your own money i believe they wouldnt have an excuse to stop you. Just be patient ok.
To get sponsorship and to jump in a single seater racing would be never easy including most experience drivers out there. Why? Malaysia is not a place to be professional in racing unless you can fork out your own money to build a racing team.
Most easiest way and method to improve your racing skill without spendiing so much money? Come on, dont you know that technologies these days make things easier? Most of the race drivers days practise thru PC and PS2 racing games i tell you! Theres lotsa great racing SIM games out there. I would recommend you to get GTR2 or RACE WTCC. That include myself to find a new way to improve and practise my driving skills. Its only RM10 each! Would be good too if you purchase MOMO logitech with force feedback steering wheel. Go to game option and practice them without driving AIDs. Please dont think that its just a game ok, they may help you then…
youtube.com make things much easier too. Just type RACING/KART in the search box. If you have the time, study and watch them closely on how they handle it.
Guys, lets give this person a break. Always think positive and be patient.

If you can get more, ok also but limit is 15 for finals.
The reason for the slightly extended laps is because I expect some drivers COULD be lapped and these will drive one lap less.
Please also make sure they have enough weights on stand-by ( inclusive of bolts and nuts ) and some time allocation to fix these weights on last minute entries to meet your 165kgs. Needless to say, a weighing scale on that day is very needed too.

Race was quite allright despite the delay due to technical problem on transponder system and the race flag off at 10:35pm with manual lapcharts by citykarting.
Wet and greasy surface as most of us need to use wet driving techniques. Only 4 my-karters participate. The rest outsiders. 16 teams participated. Myself together partnered desmond while danny chooz with isk mildseven.
Leading 3rd overall during the my 2nd stint after desmond, then suddenly our kart had a tyre puncture as i have to get in back to pit and and swapped for other kart. Kart change from #13 to #15. Tried to catchup the front pace but finished dissapointing 7th overall.
Damage : RM150 (buffet included)
Practice session : 10 mins
Event format : 4 pitstops mandatory.
Endurance time : 1hour 20mins, rolling start (most of them didnt maintain their own position before the start line %$#%^&%&% and i was like what the hell)Fun race despite finished 7th. Would be glad if my-kart to run at night at least 1 round championship.
