So lets say they are controlling the fuel intake during slow speed, what will happen if it overloads?
During the formation laps the karts are running at low RPM (often below 7,000 RPM). The karts optimum performance is at high RPM (say for Rotax Senior, 13-14,000 RPM). It’s possible the engine could flood and stall as it is not burning sufficient anounts of fuel or it may cause sluggish acceleration when the race commences. There are also other factors that would have an impact on the kart performance as mentioned above, such as getting the engine to optimum temperature as soon as possible.
as being told by one of the official, the best is not to reveal your racing background experience. They dont want any ‘i know it all’ attitude in this program.

By telling other people you dont brake in a kart maybe cool but you’ll never learn basic racing technique fundamentals. Call me slow and not matter what, I would still brake in a 80cc kart.
The steering wheel is the brake……understand this and you know how to go faster…
Steering wheel is the brake? As far as i concern, real race drivers out there uses more power on throttle than steering input. Different people different technique.
