thanks steward and organisers for the event. congrats to the top finishers. any chance for somebody posting the full results? do you have the full print outs?
also thanks to my TeleVAS teammates who all put in a lot of effort during the race. very disappointed to have our top team DQ’d from the lead. but that’s racing. having said that, some learnings here to ensure that there is a single source of timing reference (perhaps a single large digital clock / stopwatch / countdown to indicate the race timing).
TeleVAS Tail Happy had a good race. we qualified 9th and finished 6th. had good dogfights all throughout our race.

Member
The WMSC accepted the proposal from Formula One Management to award the drivers’ championship to the driver who has won the most races during the season. If two or more drivers finish the season with the same number of wins, the title will be awarded to the driver with the most points, the allocation of points being based on the current 10, 8, 6 etc. system.
The rest of the standings, from second to last place, will be decided by the current points system. There is no provision to award medals for first, second or third place. The Constructors’ Championship is unaffected.
The WMSC rejected the alternative proposal from the Formula One Teams’ Association to change the points awarded to drivers finishing in first, second and third place to 12, 9 and 7 points respectively.
what do you guys think of this late ruling?
sounds like rubbish. somebody must be smoking something here. imagine this… massa scores 5 wins and 50 points. kubica scores 4 wins and 80 points. massa takes the WDC. rubbish innit?

2) To run the “34-kart K3 race” as a separate feature race:
As mentioned by Fazz in a separate post (or was it on Facebook?), since we had so much fun, this may spin off a separate series, perhaps run once every quarter/2 months? – purely for fun!
the idea of a separate “BIG” K3 race series is brewing in my mind:
30+ karts
ballast
20 lapsmore thoughts are welcomed to “cook & serve” this new series… 😉
